Since stray kids produce their songs, they’ve been experimenting with their sound. They literally brought new sound to kpop (they are the first ever group to do a psytrance in kpop) With that, i feel like stray kids made a lot of non kpop fans to listen to the genre. Count me in, they converted me into one. They also made an opening and ending song for an anime tower of god and that resulted to some of anime fans becoming stray kids fans. Their lyrics always have a deep and meaningful messages, with which listeners can identify. ll their official MV's have English subs. You should turn the captions on They also experiment with different styles/genders. All of them can sing, dance and rap well. Their versatility allows them to better adapt the voices of each member, either singing or rapping to match the song. Everyone has talked about the self production but another thing that’s unique to Stray Kids is that the leader, Chan chose the members himself. And the group also has two Australian members (Chan and Felix (the one with the deep voice))

Brief linguistics: 神 is a Chinese character (called Hanja in Korean- the pronunciation of this is 'shin' like 'shin bone' which means 'god/gods') , 메뉴 is 'menu' in Korean pronunciation (literally Hangeul takes about 15 minutes to learn. It is seriously that easy and it's more phonetic than English is, and a lot of English words have become loan words in Korean) Your list of things to react to will continue to just get longer and longer and longer the more you dive into a group. (And you're only on 4th gen groups right now. There's groups that go all the way back into the late 90s. BTS is 3rd gen, so they've been around and making music for I think 7-8 years now.) If you take every rec, you both will burn yourselves out with videos. Even if you filmed every day you wouldn't be able to keep up, especially with the astounding rate groups have new music coming out. Might want to keep doing what you did for this video, one of you discovers a group, dives in, and if you think it's worth doing a reaction for, then put it on the list. This following part is kind of a wall of text of recs and some terms. Further recs, just based on what I gathered about your possible music preferences from what was mentioned: You do *not* have to react to them, this is a suggestion of music I think you might like. If you want to react, hey fantastic I'll enjoy it! But it's not a requirement, these are suggestions for new music for you to listen to in your own time. Ateez (boy group, debuted 2018. literally one of the most intense - seriously these kids are joked to be possessed when they get on stage - and goofy groups of 4th gen, they have a pirate theme or concept so all of their lyrics or choreography will references oceans or horizons etc at least once. Their MVs are tied together in a storyline, so if you want to react with the story, start with Pirate King. If you want workout material - Wonderland or Hala Hala are going to be your go-to songs. All of their MVs have English subs on the Ateez official channel - along with pretty much every other video they do. They're actually close friends with Stray Kids.) Dreamcatcher (girl group, debuted 2017. Known for their rock-based title tracks and Gothic horror concept along with their sharp choreography that wouldn't look out of place for a boy group. Their B-sides are wildly diverse where it's literally 'pick a genre of music they've probably done it' and most are available as special clips on Dreamcatcher's official channel (and earlier ones are on Happyface Entertainment, their parent company). Again, their MVs are mostly tied together into 3 different categories, the Nightmare Series (Chase Me, Good Night, Fly High, You & I, What, Piri, Breaking Out), Dystopia (Scream and the upcoming comeback at the end of this month), and Stand-alone (Deja Vu, R.o.S.E. Blue - both of these were done as collaborations with mobile game companies so they don't fit into Dreamcatcher's 'official' stories that they have. These girls have a different concept than Blackpink (and I'm sorry to say, a more diverse and larger discography. I don't blame BP for that, I blame their company for stifling their growth.) where Blackpink is more in the girl-crush/bad ass generalized concept for their songs. Dreamcatcher is here to *terrify* you, not intimidate you. Both of these groups are what I consider to be in the strain of 'concept-dols' (concept idols) that was started by Vixx (boy group that debuted in 2012, the first and original Concept Kings, their sound is more pop) where everything is tied into a concept - either their base concept (pirates for Ateez, gothic horror or dark fantasy for Dreamcatcher) or a changeable concept for each song (Vixx - they've done Jekyll & Hyde, BDSM, voodoo dolls, cyborgs, Shangri-La, vampires, Greek Gods and their last full comeback was based on the book The Perfumer) which is *not* something that's usually done. It's very difficult to have a concept and stick to it and tie everything from lyrics to music video to stage outfits to choreography into that concept, so most companies stick with more generalized concepts, and so it makes Ateez, Dreamcatcher, and Vixx some of the outliers in K-Pop.

No, they officially debut on march 2018. Hellevator is their predebut songs on october 2017 for their Surival Show on the same year too. They got a mission to create a songs and thats why hellevator drop (not only writing the lyrics but also composed and arranged it) they choreography its as well

Stray Kids will NOT disappoint - anything you check out from them you’re gonna love. Young, talented, hardworking group! And when you remember they write & produce themselves at such a young age, it’s easy to support them. Their music is different enough to other K-pop groups that they’re actually more popular outside of Korea than they are within (that’s slowly changing.) Their main rappers are considered among the best, for sure in 4th gen. From one twin to two others, good video, I’ll subscribe for some more Stray Kids!

Yes stray kids world domination! Stray kids are so incredibly unique - first of all their leader (Chan) choose and partly trained all the members himself - it wasn't the company like usually. And they are selfproducing. Chan mostly, produces, composes and arrange the songs while his 3Racha bros (a predebut hiphop/rap group - Changbin and Jisung aka best rapper in kpop right now) write the lyrics (but Chan writes as well - he is a genius). They choreograph dances themselfes as well. So much respect for them! Oh and Chan and Felix (the guy with the deep voice) are australian 😂

It really helps you feel more connected to the members individually and see how they are aside from how they act in MV’s. Stray Kids is one of the funniest and caring groups I’ve ever seen. The fact that these guys self produce their songs is mind blowing to me. The main producer is their leader Bangchan who is just 23 years old. He started producing since he was 18 and himself has chosen other group members. Out of them Bangchan, Changbin and Han created a unit called 3 Racha who started writing /producing even before their debut. U must listen to some of 3 Racha songs too. I also request u to listen/ react to song named SIDE EFFECTS. The genre of this song is Psy - trance and Straykids is the ONLY k-pop group who has produced something like this. Lots of love

They’re called 3racha kind of like the hot sauce “sriracha” but 3 to represent the 3 members. As you’ve heard, they write, compose, produce their songs, they contribute in creating their own choreographies as well. There’s a storyline thats followed from their music videos and the lyrics are the most meaningful and poetically creative masterpieces you’ll ever experience from Stray Kids. I promise you. If you start from their predebut-most recent mv’s. It goes Hellavator, District 9, My Pace, I Am You, Miroh, Side Effects, Levanter and now God’s Menu. They’re very experimental & each of their songs are never really the same, bc they consist of different genres and that’s what the whole concept to their Go Live album (most recent album that God’s Menu is on) they wanted to showcase the concept of their entire album being a menu of songs that can satisfy anybody’s tastes or interests in music. Since stray kids produce their songs, they’ve been experimenting with their sound. They literally brought new sound to kpop (they are the first ever group to do a psytrance in kpop) With that, i feel like stray kids made a lot of non kpop fans to listen to the genre. Count me in, they converted me into one. They also made an opening and ending song for an anime tower of god and that resulted to some of anime fans becoming stray kids fans. Brief linguistics: 神 is a Chinese character (called Hanja in Korean- the pronunciation of this is 'shin' like 'shin bone' which means 'god/gods') , 메뉴 is 'menu' in Korean pronunciation (literally Hangeul takes about 15 minutes to learn. It is seriously that easy and it's more phonetic than English is, and a lot of English words have become loan words in Korean)
Your list of things to react to will continue to just get longer and longer and longer the more you dive into a group. (And you're only on 4th gen groups right now. There's groups that go all the way back into the late 90s. BTS is 3rd gen, so they've been around and making music for I think 7-8 years now.) If you take every rec, you both will burn yourselves out with videos. Even if you filmed every day you wouldn't be able to keep up, especially with the astounding rate groups have new music coming out. Might want to keep doing what you did for this video, one of you discovers a group, dives in, and if you think it's worth doing a reaction for, then put it on the list. This following part is kind of a wall of text of recs and some terms.
Further recs, just based on what I gathered about your possible music preferences from what was mentioned: You do *not* have to react to them, this is a suggestion of music I think you might like. If you want to react, hey fantastic I'll enjoy it! But it's not a requirement, these are suggestions for new music for you to listen to in your own time.
Ateez (boy group, debuted 2018. literally one of the most intense - seriously these kids are joked to be possessed when they get on stage - and goofy groups of 4th gen, they have a pirate theme or concept so all of their lyrics or choreography will references oceans or horizons etc at least once. Their MVs are tied together in a storyline, so if you want to react with the story, start with Pirate King. If you want workout material - Wonderland or Hala Hala are going to be your go-to songs. All of their MVs have English subs on the Ateez official channel - along with pretty much every other video they do. They're actually close friends with Stray Kids.)
Dreamcatcher (girl group, debuted 2017. Known for their rock-based title tracks and Gothic horror concept along with their sharp choreography that wouldn't look out of place for a boy group. Their B-sides are wildly diverse where it's literally 'pick a genre of music they've probably done it' and most are available as special clips on Dreamcatcher's official channel (and earlier ones are on Happyface Entertainment, their parent company). Again, their MVs are mostly tied together into 3 different categories, the Nightmare Series (Chase Me, Good Night, Fly High, You & I, What, Piri, Breaking Out), Dystopia (Scream and the upcoming comeback at the end of this month), and Stand-alone (Deja Vu, R.o.S.E. Blue - both of these were done as collaborations with mobile game companies so they don't fit into Dreamcatcher's 'official' stories that they have. These girls have a different concept than Blackpink (and I'm sorry to say, a more diverse and larger discography. I don't blame BP for that, I blame their company for stifling their growth.) where Blackpink is more in the girl-crush/bad ass generalized concept for their songs. Dreamcatcher is here to *terrify* you, not intimidate you.
Both of these groups are what I consider to be in the strain of 'concept-dols' (concept idols) that was started by Vixx (boy group that debuted in 2012, the first and original Concept Kings, their sound is more pop) where everything is tied into a concept - either their base concept (pirates for Ateez, gothic horror or dark fantasy for Dreamcatcher) or a changeable concept for each song (Vixx - they've done Jekyll & Hyde, BDSM, voodoo dolls, cyborgs, Shangri-La, vampires, Greek Gods and their last full comeback was based on the book The Perfumer) which is *not* something that's usually done. It's very difficult to have a concept and stick to it and tie everything from lyrics to music video to stage outfits to choreography into that concept, so most companies stick with more generalized concepts, and so it makes Ateez, Dreamcatcher, and Vixx some of the outliers in K-Pop.

Stray Kids is now eight member Kpop group, they originally started with nine. They are a self-created & self-produced group who debuted under JYP Ent on March 25th 2018 through a survival show which was called “Stray Kids”. It’s been about two years now since their debut, the first song they’ve written was “Hellevator” during the end of their predebut in October 2017. Their rapline is called “3RACHA” who are responsible for writing & producing all of their music. They‘re popular for their hip hop rock rap EDM kpop style. The leader Bang Chan was the one who picked out all the members to be in the group on the survival show. *My biases are Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Felix and HAN but I love & support OT8 (“NO bias wreckers”)*
3RACHA is a hip hop rap subunit that consists of Bang Chan (CB97), Changbin (SpearB), and Han (J.One) who debuted in early 2017 under JYP Ent before being complete group called Stray Kids. *The song “Hellevator” was written, produced and choerographed by themselves as part of a mission on a survival show also called “Stray Kids” which was also during their predebut in October 2017, the track itself means since they’re already in hell, struggling and in pain but keeps on going and gets on the elevator towards their dreams because they want to escape onto a better future *H button = Heaven* All the members can sing, rap and vice vera. They have allot of hip hop, rock and EDM elements in many of their tracks. One of the boys named HAN is almost if not the youngest music producer in kpop industry who’s worked along with Bang Chan and Changbin on all of Stray Kids songs/albums until now. They were often referred to as the possible new BTS. Not in the sense that they’re the same as BTS but in the sense they all write and produce their own lyrics on top discussing dark topics that aren’t talked about in South Korea. This band has really grown since the pre-debut track "Hellavator", which gets and stays in your head for days! They self produce with their internal group 3racha (which includes 3 of the band members, Bang Chan, Han, and Changbin). I was really happy to see the success of this song and their growth because they truly work hard and have a lot of meaningful things to say in their music! Stray kids are so incredibly unique - first of all their leader (Chan) choose and partly trained all the members himself - it wasn't the company like usually. And they are selfproducing. Chan mostly, produces, composes and arrange the songs while his 3Racha bros (a predebut hiphop/rap group - Changbin and Jisung aka best rapper in kpop right now) write the lyrics (but Chan writes as well - he is a genius). They choreograph dances themselfes as well. So much respect for them! Oh and Chan and Felix (the guy with the deep voice) are australian 😂

It really helps you feel more connected to the members individually and see how they are aside from how they act in MV’s. Stray Kids is one of the funniest and caring groups I’ve ever seen. Guys, first I love your reaction, but you should know that in K-pop it's usually that way (rap transitioning to vocals and back) and second, Stray Kids are one of the rare groups that is almost 100% self produced.

The fact that these guys self produce their songs is mind blowing to me. The main producer is their leader Bangchan who is just 23 years old. He started producing since he was 18 and himself has chosen other group members. Out of them Bangchan, Changbin and Han created a unit called 3 Racha who started writing /producing even before their debut. U must listen to some of 3 Racha songs too. I also request u to listen/ react to song named SIDE EFFECTS. The genre of this song is Psy - trance and Straykids is the ONLY k-pop group who has produced something like this. Lots of love

Their producing unit consists of 3 of the members in their group, Leader/Rapper/Vocals/Producer: Bang Chan, Main Rapper/Producer: Changbin and Main Rapper/Producer: Han Jisung - before Stray Kids these 3 were an underground sub unit rap group under the same record label, JYPE. They’re called 3racha kind of like the hot sauce “sriracha” but 3 to represent the 3 members. As you’ve heard, they write, compose, produce their songs, they contribute in creating their own choreographies as well. There’s a storyline thats followed from their music videos and the lyrics are the most meaningful and poetically creative masterpieces you’ll ever experience from Stray Kids. I promise you. If you start from their predebut-most recent mv’s. It goes Hellavator, District 9, My Pace, I Am You, Miroh, Side Effects, Levanter and now God’s Menu. They’re very experimental & each of their songs are never really the same, bc they consist of different genres and that’s what the whole concept to their Go Live album (most recent album that God’s Menu is on) they wanted to showcase the concept of their entire album being a menu of songs that can satisfy anybody’s tastes or interests in music. Whether it’s calming or it hypes you up. Each member is incredibly versatile, they all rap, sing, dance they’re all visuals, some of the members are also learning how to produce music. So they’re all rounders. I’m looking forward to more Stray Kids!

By the way, switching between rap and vocals is pretty common for Kpop, but every group is pretty unique. They can use bascially any music style they want, so every group develops its own style.
I would also like you to react to the group ATEEZ!
