Thank you for such timely message. It was like God is speaking directly to me. I was a missionary in a largely Buddhist country. Three years ago I decided to pursue my profession and set up a small physiotherapy clinic. But pandemic came and all my plans crumbled. Barely supporting myself with few house calls I make. I started blaming God and went back to doing ungodly things. Then I lost my sister from the dreaded virus which was the most painful thing I've experienced in a long time. That pain brought me back to God. I often awaken from sleep at night so I put on preachings like this until I fall back to sleep. I listened to this last night and this morning I thought I'd take notes. Thanks and God bless you!

A powerful message to remind us that no matter what our horrible sins are, God's got my back. He's got a much bigger plan in my life than a sin that was just a moment of my time here on earth....vs our eternity with Him in Heaven. That said with the pain I'm in now, I wish He could take me now. Earth life is not fun at the moment, I want to be in Heaven RIGHT NOW. But alas, its not my choice when I go to Heaven. That's why HE has a much bigger plan than this temporary pain I'm in now...for the stupid sins I did. He will use me FOR these sins to help others. Dear Lord, please forgive me for my sins. I am suffering in the situation now and paying the consequences for what I've done. Please have mercy upon me. Make straight my paths and lead me unto those still waters beside you. I will go where you lead me. I fear the earthly world-defined consequences for my sins. But be it your will, Lord, I pray your will prevail over my situation. Please spread your compassion and forgiveness upon all the parties involved. Let pain and suffering end so that we may all move forward. And I will continue your calling for my life, to further your Kingdom of love and forgiveness wherever you send me. Amen 🙏🏽

I’ve only really been listening to Brother Zac Poonen for the last couple of years because I have yet to hear any other sound teaching from anyone else. But today I woke up with this overwhelming feeling of joy (it only lasted about 5-10 seconds Lol) I have never felt anything like that in my life. Then I watched this sermon by this Man of God. And I am happy to say I finally have another preacher I can listen to.
28:15 Just to add one more thing to the list: unanswered prayers also work together for good. I'm currently having an experience in that. The big challenge for myself (and others, I'm sure) has been to once in a while take my focus off of how soon my prayers will get answered, and turn my head to the right just a little (so to speak) to notice the good that God is making out of my prayer not being answered yet.

How do I forgive myself? This may seem like a dumb question? do I ask myself for forgiveness or do I tell myself I'm forgiven or do I just quit thinking about it?
Virgil Tatro I personally pray and ask God to show me the truth of what happened on the cross. Jesus took my sin and paid for them, so I accept by faith that I am forgiven of all my sin, faith comes from hearing and hearing comes from the word of God, so you have to receive the message of the gospel, this includes repentance and receiving forgivenesses.
You can literally tell yourself, Lord in Jesus name I am forgiving myself for all this wrong doing in my life. I am calling blood of Jesus Christ amen. Read Ephesians 1:3-7 and 2:4-10 read loud to yourself. 1 Peter 2:24.

I’ve always wondered if peter really did wrong by Jesus by refusing to acknowledge that he knew him that night to strangers. The person who betrayed Jesus was judas. Not peter. Peter was full of it. He was boasting about his loyalty and Jesus called him out. But peter probably saved his own life by denying he knew Jesus. Then he went on to be the father of the church. Was it a poor choice to deny that he knew Jesus in that moment? The point of the three times before the rooster crows was to show that we are all fallible in the face of fear. Only Jesus was the exception.
When time somebody was praising God for being a god of second chances. God rebuked him and said "I am not the god of second chances, I am the god of new beginnings.".
Same here, but it's been 7 years now and God brought me an amazing husband. I see now what I went through allows me to do the ministry I do now. I wouldn't be changing lives if I hadn't been through those things. They were a blessing I didn't want. Life is still hard but God provides.
What you described doesn't sound like a sin, it sounds like a really crappy thing happened to you. You can use that pain to help others and you can have a great future.
This man, Rick Warren, went against the Southern Baptist Convention. This man is against the New Testament, against the apostle Paul, who said, 1 Timothy 2:11 "Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. 12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve." 1 Corinthians 11:2 "Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you. 3 But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. 4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head. 5 But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved. 6 For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. Or was it you only that it reached? 37 If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord. 38 But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant." Is it mean to follow Christ. After all, it is His church. Does the pot say to the potter, why did you make thus? Satan was the original egalitarian, as Satan wanted to be "Like", as in equal to the Most High (Isaiah 14:14). What is next Rick Warren, an "open and affirming" church? Rick perhaps you should consider resigning as a representative of Christ. We cannot go against His word, the Bible, and still be His. Is Rick, and I know people will be offended, which is not my intention, but is Rick more of a wolf, or a servant of Christ. Servants do not go against their Master.
“This man is against The New Testament”??? Strong words and I’m glad there not mine. Paul was addressing the church of Ephesus because they were out of alignment. The women did not have proper teachings to do what they were doing. I’m in agreement that the man is to be the leader and have ultimate authority. But what you’re implying is not law, cause if it was, Paul would have addressed every church on this topic.
Do we confess our sins to God or to man? I lied a long time ago when I was a kid, and the lie had a big effect on some people. Coming clean now may very well make life worse for the person I lied to. I confessed to God, but I can't seem to feel forgiven or feel His presence. Is this because I have to confess the lie to the person I lied to? Or is this for some other reason?
If you still can find them. That is the best way to do it. Talk to the persons or person you lie and come clean. It might hurt for moment but that is the long last healing you can do to yourself and them. James 5:16-20.

Most people with anxiety and depression feel like a burden to all. As for myself, id rather be homeless and pennyless than ask someone for assistance. Some people really Need someone to step in and bridge the gap for them. Especially since they barely eat or eat junk food they are just too mentally unchallenged to hold onto any sort of advice or reference. The love and care required from a perfect stranger is immense and the only way. Challenge this status quo and shake the foundations of a system leading to a worsening and destined for failure.
Job 11:13-18 …you will face the world again without shame and you’ll be strong…you’ll have courage because you’ll have hope” Such a beautiful selection of verses full of truth and wisdom.
Pastor Rick…it’s very important to me to let you know how important your sermons have been in my daily life. Your sermons give me the hope that I feel in my prayers and during the time I spend in my Bible reading. My life right now is target practice for Satan. The enemy is having a fantastic time at the expense of my family’s lack of peace, harmony and has endangered my marriage. I humbly would like to request prayer for my husband. He’s a newer Christian. Isn’t fully on board with his understanding of the trinity, or how God appreciates the time we spend singing worship songs or how crucial complete and total surrender of ourselves is to being a Christian who fully respects, trusts and follows Jesus, entrusting completely to God’s Will. I fully am devoted to God. Whatever He needs me to do, I will do. No questions asked. I’m feeling incredibly overwhelmed right now…and holding onto my focus on Jesus is the only thing keeping my head above being swallowed up by the family turbulence happening all around me. I know God is with me. I know that all that I’m going through is to be used for His glory, for His good.

The persecution from family members used to bother me, but I have noticed in myself, that it doesn’t really get to me anymore. I’m okay with whatever comes at me spewed from anyone especially from my family members. Anything I go through, I know is nothing compared to what Jesus went through for the sins of mankind and my sins. So many people don’t see the cross the way I do. I see the cross as a symbol of the most Ultimate Sacrifice of The Truest of Love in the entire world.

How do I forgive myself? This may seem like a dumb question? do I ask myself for forgiveness or do I tell myself I'm forgiven or do I just quit thinking about it?
Virgil Tatro I personally pray and ask God to show me the truth of what happened on the cross. Jesus took my sin and paid for them, so I accept by faith that I am forgiven of all my sin, faith comes from hearing and hearing comes from the word of God, so you have to receive the message of the gospel, this includes repentance and receiving forgivenesses.
Stop blaming yourself
You can literally tell yourself, Lord in Jesus name I am forgiving myself for all this wrong doing in my life. I am calling blood of Jesus Christ amen. Read Ephesians 1:3-7 and 2:4-10 read loud to yourself. 1 Peter 2:24.

I’ve always wondered if peter really did wrong by Jesus by refusing to acknowledge that he knew him that night to strangers. The person who betrayed Jesus was judas. Not peter. Peter was full of it. He was boasting about his loyalty and Jesus called him out. But peter probably saved his own life by denying he knew Jesus. Then he went on to be the father of the church. Was it a poor choice to deny that he knew Jesus in that moment? The point of the three times before the rooster crows was to show that we are all fallible in the face of fear. Only Jesus was the exception.

In all due respect, Pastor Rick, I unwittingly married and had three children for a Sociopath. I pay for my sin every day of my life.
Same here, but it's been 7 years now and God brought me an amazing husband. I see now what I went through allows me to do the ministry I do now. I wouldn't be changing lives if I hadn't been through those things. They were a blessing I didn't want. Life is still hard but God provides.

What you described doesn't sound like a sin, it sounds like a really crappy thing happened to you. You can use that pain to help others and you can have a great future.
This man, Rick Warren, went against the Southern Baptist Convention. This man is against the New Testament, against the apostle Paul, who said, 1 Timothy 2:11 "Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. 12 And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve." 1 Corinthians 11:2 "Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you. 3 But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. 4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head. 5 But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved. 6 For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered. 7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. 8 For man is not from woman, but woman from man. 9 Nor was man created for the woman, but woman for the man. 10 For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. 11 Nevertheless, neither is man independent of woman, nor woman independent of man, in the Lord. 12 For as woman came from man, even so man also comes through woman; but all things are from God." 1 Corinthians 11:16 "But if anyone seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, nor do the churches of God." 1 Corinthians 14:33 "For God is not the author of [i]confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. 34 Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. 35 And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church. 36 Or did the word of God come originally from you? Or was it you only that it reached? 37 If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord. 38 But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant." Is it mean to follow Christ. After all, it is His church. Does the pot say to the potter, why did you make thus? Satan was the original egalitarian, as Satan wanted to be "Like", as in equal to the Most High (Isaiah 14:14). What is next Rick Warren, an "open and affirming" church? Rick perhaps you should consider resigning as a representative of Christ. We cannot go against His word, the Bible, and still be His. Is Rick, and I know people will be offended, which is not my intention, but is Rick more of a wolf, or a servant of Christ. Servants do not go against their Master.
“This man is against The New Testament”??? Strong words and I’m glad there not mine. Paul was addressing the church of Ephesus because they were out of alignment. The women did not have proper teachings to do what they were doing. I’m in agreement that the man is to be the leader and have ultimate authority. But what you’re implying is not law, cause if it was, Paul would have addressed every church on this topic.
Do we confess our sins to God or to man? I lied a long time ago when I was a kid, and the lie had a big effect on some people. Coming clean now may very well make life worse for the person I lied to. I confessed to God, but I can't seem to feel forgiven or feel His presence. Is this because I have to confess the lie to the person I lied to? Or is this for some other reason?
I'd say this is one to discuss with someone/people close to you.God has already forgiven you - pray for wisdom for the way forward. God Bless !
If you still can find them. That is the best way to do it. Talk to the persons or person you lie and come clean. It might hurt for moment but that is the long last healing you can do to yourself and them. James 5:16-20.

Most people with anxiety and depression feel like a burden to all. As for myself, id rather be homeless and pennyless than ask someone for assistance. Some people really Need someone to step in and bridge the gap for them. Especially since they barely eat or eat junk food they are just too mentally unchallenged to hold onto any sort of advice or reference. The love and care required from a perfect stranger is immense and the only way. Challenge this status quo and shake the foundations of a system leading to a worsening and destined for failure.

My life right now is target practice for Satan. The enemy is having a fantastic time at the expense of my family’s lack of peace, harmony and has endangered my marriage.
I humbly would like to request prayer for my husband.
He’s a newer Christian. Isn’t fully on board with his understanding of the trinity, or how God appreciates the time we spend singing worship songs or how crucial complete and total surrender of ourselves is to being a Christian who fully respects, trusts and follows Jesus, entrusting completely to God’s Will.
I fully am devoted to God.
Whatever He needs me to do, I will do.

I’m feeling incredibly overwhelmed right now…and holding onto my focus on Jesus is the only thing keeping my head above being swallowed up by the family turbulence happening all around me. I know God is with me. I know that all that I’m going through is to be used for His glory, for His good.

The persecution from family members used to bother me, but I have noticed in myself, that it doesn’t really get to me anymore.
I’m okay with whatever comes at me spewed from anyone especially from my family members.
Anything I go through, I know is nothing compared to what Jesus went through for the sins of mankind and my sins.
So many people don’t see the cross the way I do.
I see the cross as a symbol of the most Ultimate Sacrifice of The Truest of Love in the entire world.
