Depends on your friendship and how much they’re helping you (ie what they’re doing for your wedding.) Can’t rly help bc there’s no fast and hard rule.

Does the wedding planner help to create background music playlists, create childhood videos, help to emcee the ceremony etc? How else does the wedding planner value add other than recommending vendors?
They can but you’d want to choose your own music id think? Emcee nope, you’ll have to find your own. They do coordination for u and event planning and event coordinator on that day as well
