@@herbertrichard614SD for me. I love Ride though too. I just saw them last year and are still amazing live. Ride is better vocally because Adam Franklin's voice isn't the best and is kind of shot at this point. Musically I think SD are better.
Hahah! Rick mentioned them in a live show a while back too. He didn't get some of the facts about swervedriver right. their first single was Son of mustang ford and he didn't even mention it! I hope he can get adam on his channel.
So important to still feel the same way about this band as I did 25 years. They still bring joy to my soul and it has nothing to do with nostalgia. Swervedriver will always write true original music and watching them live is always such a personal experience. Thank you for continuing this musical journey for us supporters to appreciate. #ThankYouSwervedriver
This song gives me all the great fuzzy feels of Catherine Wheel at the top of their game. Not sure why I came so late to Swervedriver but glad I'm here now!
@@melvinbrown1347 Ride graduated No. 1 in their class. Don't agree? Okay, but their uni was like the United States Naval Academy, the finest academic institution in the world.

Always felt this was the perfect grown up answer to "Girl On A Motorbike". I love this song so much. It's easily become "the" song I want to hear as I ride around the country and have time to think and the number one Swervedriver song lyric that gets planted in my brain.
Thank you for your undying musical excellence. Thank you for being so kind when my band opened for you three years ago in Vegas. Thank you for a new album. Happy tears today; you guys amaze, always.
I saw The Other Jesus and was told to get this disc or I might get caught in a Maelstrom and get Sandblasted by the storm that's Bubbling Up. I don't want my Last Day On Earth to come without having this release playing in my Stellar Caprice - thank you SWD!
Ryan Ponder saw them in Boston on that tour. Not sure if it was an off night but they were kind of shaky. Thankfully the Swervoes more than redeemed themselves headlining at Sonia in Cambridge Massachusetts this past October. Solid set, not a dud in the bunch, especially “The Birds!”
@@scott12xu I enjoyed Swervedriver's performances better during the I Wasn't Born to Lose You and Future Ruins tours. I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome Failure (not that familiar with them) was when Swervedriver opened for them.
How awesome that I should hear this for the first time in an NYC hotel, with some great shots of an early 1960s Harlem appearing in the video when I was outside the Apollo just 48hrs ago! I can't wait to hear the album.

It’s 2018 and Swervedriver are as relevant as ever!
You mean never? Just kidding, they're hugely underrated!

Still some of the sickest guitar tones in rock. Swervedriver just fucking rule
yes and yes

Amazing musicians that were sorely overlooked.
Undeniable perfection, eloquently simple and deeply complex. I love this so much
you chose your weapon wisely...
Perfection abounds in English language pop-Byrds, Beach Boys, Beatles. But Swerve or Ride?
Thanks Rick Beato!
also brought here by Rick :)
