It's no secret that most of us want a kick or screech tutorial next! I love this tutorial its so proffesional and very well explained! Thank you my man! 👊
hardstyle guys been obsessed w/ kick tutorials for decades if you haven't seen nor applied the science from headhunterz kick masterclass_& youre STILL asking for kick tutorials year after year then youre kinda just addicted to research without actually applying it_& it can be fun to search & learn_but even more fun to go do it! the point really is_#1 is melody_everyone can make or sample a great kick_every genre_easy to get it right if you have a good reference
2 questions: 1. If I understand it correctly you only apply the pitch bend to the lead and not to the chords. Is that correct? Is this the best way of working or can it be a good idea to apply it to the chords as well? 2. I noticed that you did not adjust the chords of the plucks to the changes that you made before on the chords. Why is that? Was it on conscious or did you just forget? Thank you for the answers. Nice video by the way!
Some extra info if someone reads, when you do an inversion on a chord, you can also play the new lowest note in the chord as the bass For example in Cm you play C E G , the bass you'll play here is C. if do an inversion and for example play G E C, you play G in the bass. These are both still just a chord with the root note of C, just a different bass note. no right or wrong here, just a different feeling to a progression. Not changing the bassnote gives you a more seperated feel whilst changing it sort of glues it more together
great tip to play in your favourite scale and then transpose the melody to another scale - just found out that the transpose button in abletons "scale" plugin does this job 100% and also creates a whole other feeling if you just transpose your melody 1 or 2 semitones up or down. Great learning on sunday morning, thank you very much for this Tip! 💚
Hope to see a tutorial for kicks but without those Monster vst's like Logic clip distortion or cubase destroyer, but I'm sure that any tutorial from a master like Hard Driver is pure gold, thanks ❤️❤️
WoW! Loved It, if you want ideas, you came to te right place: how to do screeches, kicks, drum programming, snares, effects you usually use on each elements, mixing, mastering and brakdowns of your most popular songs if you have still the projects, i would love to see the breakdown of Nothing or Oldskool
Thanks HD for your tutorial! I started producing hardstyle about a year ago, learning stuff mostly by just listening and trying. Your studio sessions are very usefull and hope to reach that same quality of production skill someday!
Well thumbs up and a subscription for me really good tutorial! Learned some new stuff I always started out with a bassline I liked made some chords and then I understood what notes I can play and use. But what you do makes more sense and it is fun to see it like this! Once again thankyou !!!! 🙏🏼
Really awesome tutorial man love how you've made the all the elements of the melody then altered the chords to follow along with the rhythm. Maybe do a video on creating screech rhythms and getting them to work along with the kick
awesome video, the tutorial part was really helpfull and the Demo part was entertaining as hell! Im excited for the next episode already ! Good Job Hard Driver , also good job to Enygma and Yuta Emai, loved both demos :D
Awesome! This is really helpful, especially for beginners. Great job and great explanation of every steps 👍🏼👍🏼 Was waiting for that one ❤️ Thank you man!!
The minor 3rd in c-minor is called after the E, so E flat. This is because it's the third note from the scale that is lowered a half step and not the second one that is raised half a step. So it's E-flat and not D-sharp. In the key of Cmi a B-natural is awesome in hardstyle melodies when you combine it with a G chord. Very Headhunterz, Ran-D etc. If Mozart and Beethoven would be alive today they'd produce hardstyle.
HAHA i know that feeling, if you had an great melody idea and you will lost in your head when you start a new project :D i just record in my phone too :)
Loved this! You honestly produce like i do! Which is actually really cool! Of course, you're a much better producer, but it's nice to see a great dj/producer make music in the same way as i do! 😎 🎶 🧡
Very cool vid ! You say that you always make your melodies using the same scale, but there are a lot of differents scales existing. Isn't it a waste ? Does it not limit the number of good melodies that you could make ?
Replying 2 years later 😂 Back then I played in the same scale, but by transposing in the software I can play in any scale. Its just the physical playing that I usually do in the same scale. Now in 2023 I did a lot more practice and I became a bit better in different scales.
What would you like to see in next month's tutorial? And keep sending in those demos to: hd.demodrop@gmail.com 🔥
creating screeches
Making kicks from scratch 🔥
Vocal tricks n how to start a track
How to make your leads sound great? Maybe you can start from the melody that you created in this tutorial.
Arrangment of a track would also be nice and all the previous answers 👌🏻
It's no secret that most of us want a kick or screech tutorial next! I love this tutorial its so proffesional and very well explained! Thank you my man! 👊

Professional hardstyle mixing and mastering tutorial from the master himself would be really nice! ;)
20:45 "I usually take a few serum"
Regular CPU says: NOOOOOPE
mixing and mastering also sound design on what sounds fit with other sounds
Even though this wasn't meant to show how to create leads, the video gave me a million ideas how to improve on that end. Thanks so much!

Your tattoo is so sick hard driver! 😮
Show us how u make hardstyle kicks, or where you get them from. Would be interesting !
Just making their own, if you made a lot of them throughout the years you can layer them to get a new kick

I really liked the "question/answer" trick about melodies 🙂
Looking forward for the next episodes 😎💪
So great!!!
Ey bro! Thanks 🔥😎😁
Could we get a voice processing tutorial that explains how to get that deep hardstyle voice, that you have in your intro for an example?
Would really like to see how you choose your sounds and what drives you into one sound insted of all the others. Thanks :)
Hele toffe video!!! Thanks voor alle tips. Ik zou graag nog een video willen zien over het masteren (en mixen) van hardstyle

Sensational!

e flat and d sharp are literally the same notes
Making a kick from scratch the typical harddriver kick like Till the End 🎉
