Gwenny also posted a vlog of her Bicester Village run a couple of videos ago. I was surprised to see the price on one of the Jimmy Choo shoes she held up. I ordered a similar pair from 24S, 40% off, and got a better deal than what was on the tag in the outlet. So I think that it really pays to do some research before going to the cash register with an outlet item. I feel like we may even be able to get better deals online with some of the discount codes available. That said, I do feel like it was worth a trip out of the city if only to see for yourself what it's like. I'm glad you got a great deal on the Le Pliages and now at least, you've got one item of the Christmas list checked off. I'm sure your mom will love her new bag.🥰 Aww, I know what you mean about vlogging. I seriously could not do it! I'm much too self-conscious and even taking a photo in public, in front of a famous monument let's say, makes me feel so observed and uncomfortable.🙈 Thank you for the footage. This was the first outlet I have visited where I honestly didn't see any deals and the "outlet" prices were quite high. But there has been some where the deals have been super good! But definitely worth to check online the prices before buying anything from outlets. I don't regret spending the day there because we got to see a place we hadn't visited before :) I'm so happy to know that I'm not alone with my thoughts on the vlogging part - it just felt very strange :D
I think these particular outlets (same company) are now aiming at tourists just buying up loads of made-for-outlet pieces, at BV there are always coach loads of tourists coming through, and they SHOP! 🛍️🛍️🛍️🛍️🛍️ I'm happy I got my YSL boutique bargain, but I doubt I'll be going back. I'm sticking with boutiques and trying to pick up a bargain online with a discount code! 🤞🏼💕
Great video and actually I guess when you go to an outlet the experience isn’t the same either so if there’s no discount you would be better off getting it in the actual boutique-also your new edition is beautiful 😍💖

When vlogging in public, the best thing is to think 'I'm NEVER going to see these people again, so who cares if they think I'm crazy?' It works for me! 🤪📷💕
This outlet centre is the same as Bicester Village, it's the same company. The more I think about it, the less likely I am to go back to BV, I don't want to buy lower quality made-for-outlet pieces at a high price, I want to buy last season pieces at a hugely discounted price! 🤑 Always look at the men's collection! 🙌🏼 The Longchamps are boutique but last season colours, so you're safe with those purchases. 😘💕

I think Sophie Shohet just did a video talking about luxury stores producing for the outlet with a reduced quality.. I agree with Gucci because they have the same bags since years that I have never seen on the website in my life but some accessories and shoes are actually from many seasons ago for example I saw many loafers and SLGs with the Gucci bloom pattern from 3-4 years ago! Nevertheless, I agree the prices are not really with it most of the time but I felt like you got especially unlucky as I have never seen current collection items in outlet stores for the same retail price.. like what is the point? Anyways, happy you could snatch up the le pliage, the colors are gorgeous and your mom will love her Christmas gift 🎁 alsoooo I’m so weird with vlogging in public, it’s just not my cup of tea 😂 great and very informative video 💕

Ingolstadt is a Bicester Village outlet centre too! There are 11 of them, dotted around the place. I was surprised when I discovered that. BV was the first and it's ALWAYS busy, so the owners must've thought 'expand expand EXPAND!' 🤑🤑🤑 Interesting that you'd have better shopping in Ingolstadt 🛍️

They might have the same owner but at least my experiences has been quite different :DD I've been to BV a couple of times and made some nice finds, same as from Ingolstadt so even with the same owner for me they have been different :D
Should have gone to Hermès 😉 5 hours is pretty efficient. When i go outlet shopping in US, I'm there for over 7 hours. Regarding filming, you do need to put on thick skin😂 i do wonder how some people are so good at it💕💕
A Burberry trench coat in the store (France and Germany) is approximately 1850-2000 €. If the outlet sells them at 600-700 €, this is quite a deal. How much are you willing to pay for a new trench coat?
Those are the regular prices in Finland as well. I guess I’m just stuck in the thought that I know the Burberry trench coats have been sold in the outlets with around 200-400€ and I’d prefer to pay that money instead of 600-700€ 😅 I might need to change my mindset soon since those amazing discounts are probably very rare and my timing would need to be perfect to be able to get the coat with such a great price
@@WithaTouchofLuxury I have been to La Vallèe Village maybe 9-10 times, over New Years, when there are sales up to 70% and I have never seen a trench for under 600 €. I mean a real one, there was one plastic-y one once, with cherries 🍒 and it was just below 500 €. For 200-400 €I think you could probably find a second hand trench. With the crazy demands for luxury goods, it would be a good idea to rethink your budget. I hope you find your dream trench 🤞🏻

Hmm I can’t say for cerain for La Vallee Village as I’ve only visited this outlet once. But usually designer outlets have bigger sales after Christmas, during July-August and maybe around Black Friday. They do offer the regular outlet prices all around the year 😊
It of course always depends on timing and stock but I’ve really enjoyed La Roca village (near Barcelona), Bicester village (near London), Parndorf (near Vienna - I just posted a video of this place) and Roermond outlet (in the Neatherlands) just to name a few 😊 I live in Europe so I’ve done most of my outlet shopping here. In the US I really have enjoyed Woodbury outlet close to NYC
