As a dad of a little girl that got anoxic brain damage at 2 and a half years old, due to a doctors misdiagnosis, i watched how people looked at her after being confined to a wheel chair was unreal as a Dad I feel this song, I lost my daughter 6 months and 3 days after she got brain damage do to her brain trying to rewire, thank you all for doing a reaction to this song, I was listening to the Mark Wills version in 2003 - 2004 when my daughter got brain damage and passed away this song has unreal meaning to me...

Scripture says to overcome evil with good! That's the main message of the song! I was one of those kids that was bullied and teased from kindergarten throughout high school so I relate to this song very strongly! The key is knowing Christ and remembering what He did for us on the cross and to pray for and forgive our enemies even when we don't want to! Powerful and important song that everyone needs to hear!

@Susan Clement thank you Susan. The harsh treatment and lack of empathy continued into my late 40's and I'm 57 now! Believe it or not, but a lot of it came from people who called themselves Christians! Thankfully I was able to see my own depravity, sinfulness, and the fact that Jesus forgave me so I was able through the Holy Spirit to forgive them!
And this is why we love Homefree. I finally get to see them live in December

Thank you ladies. You know, I've been on the receiving end of bullying and I think the message that is being sent should apply year round. There is no excuse for it and it speaks volumes about one's own self esteem. It's good that these two folks taught these two bullies a lesson in their own way!
Home Free never disappoints. If you haven’t already I’d highly recommend reacting to their collab. of One Voice feat. Billy Gilman. It will definitely give you chills and leave you in tears but is so, so good. Many reactors have missed it (from a year or two ago) but it is a hauntingly beautiful song with a powerful message. This is why we love Home Free.

Their lead singer Brittney Slayes is an amazing vocalist, and they even have some metal growls in there that give great contrast to her beautiful voice. I'm not 100% sure on the bullies, but I saw that they kept taking the lunch rather than just destroying it. It might be that the story here could be that those two wanted it because they couldn't afford or have enough for their own lunches. Which was why the character in this case gave them their own lunches.
