Dude fantastic idea on the clc tool clip to organize the hand tools. that has always been my biggest gripe with the mb2. I am also going to be checking out that core depressor. Cheers m8 and here's to the upcoming heating season.
Have the MB2 coming as a promo when I got my TP-XL, the CLC Clip tool holderis just genius, setting-up the MB2 ass a light run in bag thanx for those ideas good setting-up and good presentation 👍
I think I would add some protection to that base, even if it's only a few layers of decent duct tape. I am sure I have seen some self adhesive "rubber" in rolls like duct tape, but I can't think what it was used for...that stuff would be ideal....
I use the Tech MCT . You got a bag full for sure, and it works well. I tried the MB2 but couldn’t stand digging thru it to find tools. Nice job thanks for the share.
I have the MCT and really love it...The only problem is that due to human nature, there is a tendency to fill, or even over fill a bag, so what ever bag you buy ends up being "too small"..
Hey sorry for late reply! Been busy car building and neglecting my hvac stuff lol but I used the field piece sc420 with a carabiner clip hung from outside of bag it worked well
I have the same bag, this is by far the best one, perfect size for exactly what you need
@@bkluntz agreed! Run and go this is my pick everyday

Appreciate the love man, but yes! Belt clip pouches work great as a slip in for tool bags!

You have a really good set up for service, experience shows. Any hang ups with the meter fit inside?

I need to get my MB2 and veto back pack some patches on them
Hahah bro Im thinking on patches for my TP XL already
@@deserthvaclife9768 sucks not a whole of humor hvac patches to buy
did you buy the patches on amazon?
Yes came in a random assortment
Like because you said "the child" instead of "baby yoda"
What is that valve core depressor used for?
So you won't spray when hooking up to system it has a stem that threads back and forth to press and depress the valve stem nice to keep things clean
Where did you get that belt tool Pouch
Christmas gift from work, assuming Amazon would have it
Did it come with the strap
No strap included unfortunately
Veto love. I would say the tp-xl would suit you better so you aren't digging for tools all the time.
The MB2 is a meter bag, so really no need for a hard plastic base as it wasn't designed to be full of heavy tools, just meters.
