Jai has always impressed me👏👏👏👏. He is a true gentlemen and a man with a beautiful personality and with strong principles. Unfortunately we do not have so many like him in our society.
Needed to search this out & watch it again (including judges comments). Jai is always down to earth, extremely generous & genuinely appreciative of fans & followers. When you talk to him, it seems like he is still amazed people want to see him & hear him sing - humbled at where his career is taking him. He absolutely deserved that standing ovation, the apology from Simon, & so much more. Of all the BGT winners, I think he has had the hardest job to keep his dream alive - but he HAS succeeded, he HAS proved Simon was idiotically wrong to drop him, & he should be proud of where he is through his own skill, determination & love of his career.
I watched Jai This week, his voice was special back then, but now so much stronger. His humbleness and humility shines through like a beacon, What a gent. He showed his confident and cheeky side during a Mr Cellophane performance....awesome. The guy deserves every bit of what he works so hard for! Go on brother!!!! x
Well deserved and good on Simon for acknowledging the performance and offering his standing ovation. It definitely will mean the world to Jai and he obviously lives and breathes singing so I'm sure this will offer further opportunities for him 👍👍
It's not impressive how or when you fall down to the ground. It's about the way you get back up, shake of the dirt, wipe away the blood and then get back on it again that is impressive.

I always thought it was because Jai won the year Simon wasn't present, so he didn't care as much. And this explanation...didn't really do much to convince me otherwise. But at least he's learned some humility in the past few years.
i think there was some dispute between cowell and him, that led to the deal getting dropped. there are some articles available that read like simon cowell wanted, at some point, with his influence on the music world, to ruin jai mc dowall
The guys voice is better than average but he’s not great. Respect to him for winning BGT & for his record deal etc. At least he gave things his best shot. Most of us don’t get the opportunity. He’ll have great stories to tell his kids/grandkids etc 👍 Jai average

I cried out.This guy show us what “Never give up” really means.No matter how people look down on you,always stand up with your own feet.
