I just took my fulton sheller apart for a nice restoration. Luckily, mine wasn't very rusted at all. Went gloss red with flat black. Cool old things. It doesn't have the original crank on mine though, someone replaced it with a "sterling" branded cast iron, probably from another farm tool.
Hi Gabe! Sounds like an awesome restoration! Do you have any pics posted online? Thanks for checking out my video! Love these old tools. Stuff was made to last forever.
Nice job. Color choice is not my cup of tea though. It did make me think about what to paint mine. The colors of the Ford GT40, Gulf Oil blue and orange.
Tous simplement magnifique 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Thanks Patrick!

Once I make the box tomorrow for it, I'll put up a quick video and add the link!

Thanks for watching! I think that color combo will look great! Post up some pics!
Great restoration. Colours look really good
Thanks Kelvin! I modeled the colors off of the Premiere Hand Corn Sheller but I went with a little lighter of a blue
Jak zawsze, świetna robota.
Dziękuję bardzo za ciągłe wsparcie!
@@RestoreThis Po prostu uwielbiam twoje filmy, bo robisz to świetnie.
@@rekinek1111 Dziękuję za komplement! Naprawdę podobają mi się prace związane z przywracaniem, ale nagrywanie i edycja są również świetną zabawą!
Very nice job! What kind of paint did you use so it wouldn’t come off when you use it?
Thank You for sharing!
Good...🇬🇧👍
Thanks Glenn! I appreciate the watch!
Very nice restoration. Drop an ear of corn in there and see how it works.
I have a cob drying out on the back porch! Want to put the old girl through her laces! Thank you for watching!
I just found one of these today. Thank you any idea on value pre-restoration?
I’d say the value is anywhere from $20-$40 depending on how badly it’s rusted and if all the pieces are there
Fyi: you're turning it the wrong direction at the end there. But great job restoring!
Hahaha thanks! Had no clue how to use it :) thanks for stopping by and checking out my video!
I thought it used some bearings or a bushing in that shaft.
It may have at some point. There was some remains of what looked like a bushing
cann't imagine for what this thing is working?
To strip the corn kernels from the cob! 🌽 🌽 🌽 can use the kernels to feed livestock or make popcorn 🍿
