Your Fave 5s are always worthwhile, and they are even better when you add on one of your own designs. I was unaware of Fin until this video. It looks like it could be as whimsical and decorative as yarn and imagination will allow, and it would be a unique gift.

I'm so glad you like it. It is a quirky little pattern LOL.

I totally agree with you on the summer scarfs. The one you showed is very unique in that it is long and fairly narrow and could be worn several different ways. Back in the day we used to wear scarves on days when it was windy to protect our hairdo. Still a good idea today and I'm wondering why I don't see women wearing scarves anymore on their head in the same way we did back then definitely is a hairdo saver.

I also live in FL. I keep fingerless mitts in my car to use when my steering wheel is too hot to touch.
    Love Fins pattern.

OOh, that is super smart. Maybe I need to knit a pair of silk or cotton mitts for that purpose.

Thanks for sharing my Tunisian Express shawl! What a kind review, and I really enjoyed the other patterns too. I’m pretty sure I need to knit those socks 😁

I love you fav 5s and this is no exception. As I am in Australia and we are in winter the mittens might be a good project.

Hey, are you ok? I am! Dear, I'm a knitter but I love to do tunesian crocheting and it's really cool! Fantastic patterns, you are so fast while crocheting, it's so beautiful to see and you can do everything without thinkings as please don't loose stitches! It's funny, too! Use it for socks, pullovers, bonnets, skarves, ponchos, and for all you normally knit for! You need a tunesian crocheting - hook which is about 1 No bigger than you used to knit. It's so easy! With the first five patterns you can do so many fabrics and you can fnd a lot more of them here on YT! Watch some videos here on YT and you'll see: from beginner to profi there is everything there. All the best and be blessed!
    Yours, Conny

Oh Barbara👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏾. Love all the five projects. I’ve been looking at bunting ideas for my fence and fins is it!! I wear shawls year round here in Albuquerque. Inside all the time due to a/c and outside...winter time buurrr. Those fingerless are so nice and warm looking.
    Thanks for sharing👏🏽👏🏽
I used to live in Sarasota and loved Darn Good Yarn. Happy to see they are still there.

As every time I see another of your fav five, my queue grows and something new gets on the needles or hook! Tunisien is so fun. There are some beautiful shawls done Tunisian style. From “Pax” to “Rainy Day”. You will find loads in Legendary shawls all by Aoibhe Ni on Ravelry. Fin would be awesome bunting for 4th of July, a beach bash or Canada Day! So fun 😄

I adore pretty much everything Romi creates. I have to resist the urge to include her in every Fave 5 LOL.

ooo Tunisian Express, I have 2 interchangeable hook thingies I think I'll check the yarn suitability for each size and dive in once my afghan project is finished (it's half done) coolio, good fav 5's. Is it just me or do those mitts kinda match your hat Brocatelle..humm rummages through left over yarn from hat.....

I love your channel, I love your energy. I also love your glasses! Could you tell me where you got them? I’ve been searching for a frame that shape! ♥️♥️

Thank you! I'm afraid I've had them for so long I'm not really sure where I got them. Most likely LensCrafters?

Thank you! I love your fav fives. I can’t believe that one is a sweater not a shawl! The only thing I do not like is Tunisian crochet. Tried it, taught it, tolerate it, but no! not for me!
