TheOreo8u may i guess? 1. Alby. He should be more grumpy and impatient, but in this movie he seems wiser and patient. And he looks like a good leader, which he shouldn't have. 2. and 3. Newt and Ben. The actors played the role pretty well, but i imagine Newt will be taller, bigger and looks older than Thomas. More like Chris Sheffield who played Ben. Thomas Brodie should have played Ben instead of Newt, coz Ben shouldn't be bigger than Thomas. They should have switched role. 4. Teresa. She alright, but i don't like to know that she can't talks by telepathy with Thomas in this movie. It's their "special thing". It shouldn't have been erased. And then again, what disturb me most is about finding the EXIT. Where the heck is long tunnel where the glider should slide down to reach the real world?? why they changed it with just a simply exit door?? what a total joke!!! But still, this movie is very enjoyable if you're not compare it with the novel.

Newt in second in command and a former runner until he broke his ankle which makes him not a runner anymore. In the book Newt is suppose to be just the second in command and Zart is suppose to be a track-hoe, and Newt got a limp yadayadayada
If you are comparing the movie with the book FYI the only thing that they copy is the name and the places.They intentionally did that because even thought the name of the book and the movie and the characters are the same,they still change the plot because they still want to show their originality.
what pissed me off the most was that they really fucked up the way the grievers were supposed to look -_- they are supposed to be huge blobs of skin with mechanical arms and all that
I'm sorry that you wanted to be staring at a Griever blob in the theater, cause that's just "really" scary. I think Wes did a lot better portraying the Griever. It was different and it was frightening enough.
