WHY cant the UK do this??? Motorhome trip to Spain

- We are shocked this week with the way the UK and Spain do things so differently when it comes to Motorhomes and vanlife.
We visit Astorga, Castroverde and Lugo
The UK has a lot to learn and Spain is leading the way as a European destination for fabulous vanlife.
We are Corrin and Paul and with our three dogs (Pippa, Dolly & Wilf) we have travelled to 23 countries in Europe in our 13 year old motorhome.

@redsgotravels May I please ask what's the journey like to Lugo as I'm heading that way possibly in October & I'm quite lucky that I'm very close to folkestone so I use the channel tunnel & just wondering if there was a direct or fast route with avoiding tolls?😬 All the best Dave 👍🏻
Hi Dave , it’s a pretty decent run ! We’ve used tolls in places , all can be avoided using via Michelin app , it gives you the choice when route planning , we also described the route in the vlog as a few have asked , if you are in no rush avoid the tolls , the scenery is stunning 👌❤️

Great vlog - we been to Lugo but only as a quick stop over so will definitely go back and walk that city wall ! Watching your vlogs has got us itchy feet - absolutely loved northern Spain when we toured earlier this year ! Looking forward to see where you go next !💕💕

Such a stunning city, espcially the old Roman city of Lugo! As it happens, i am a history-addict!! I will mark that up for our next adventure in Spain.

Fabulous young Redders's , and what an area northern Spain is . Calamari no , too chewey for us , octopus we had for the first time last year and quite enjoyed .
Can't believe you are virtually a third of the way through your spanish trip , how time is flying . When you're back it's nearly time for us to go . Take care both of you , love from the old Redders's .xx

Corrin, have a look at some of the Instant Pot recipes for some ideas for your electric pan. Most are one pot preparation and you can just adjust the cooking times. I recommend the one pot sweet and sour chicken ❤

We're off to look at Motorhomes tomorrow! 3 Autotrails and a Burstner and hopefully a Pilote compact A class with an almost identical layout to yours. Not sure about Pilote build quality though?

Read up on Octopus. You don't want to be eating them 😥 And did you know they are trying to open an intensive Octopus breeding farm. Thousands of them, when they are solitary creatures 😓

Hi we don’t use a map , just the sat nav and general area , we did include in the vlog an overview of our route tho 🙂❤️
Best advice sad to say but leave the uk permanently as soon as you can. We decided being miserable for 10 months of the year was not worth the 2 months of summer when you go on holiday anyway.
