That Bamboo cream is reformulated Panthenol cream. They just swapped centella extract for bamboo. I honestly can't feel the difference. But I do love it
Thanks so so much for this info❣️I opened this comments section to express my panic about the Bamboo cream surely replacing the old Panthenol Barrier Cream. What a relief it being basically the same. I've used that for years and years as my sole travel moisturizer as it's one of just a few products I feel works for me for both day and night. And panthenol 10% + madecassoside is the best calming combo for my skin too and travel tends to stress out not just me but my skin as well. It'd be super annoying if this cream was discontinued alltogether. 😅
I love Purito so much. I have very acne prone forehead and literally anything can clog my pores. I love their moisturizers for my forehead and very affordable price tbh.
I'm so glad you're back❣️I'm sure everyone else missed you as much as I did. I almost bought the medik 8 peptide serum when it was on sale, but got the ultimate serum instead. I can't wait to hear your review of it. Isn't it supposed to be like 30 percent peptides?
I caved and got the Glow Recipe Blackberry serum to use on my off days from Tretinoin. I was impressed with their Strawberry BHA serum that I use during the day so figured I’d give the blackberry a try. Surprisingly the fruit acids don’t irritate me like it does with other brands.
@@ultraviolettas I still like it, but will likely not get it again unless it’s on sale due to the higher price. I went back to my budget Good Molecules Plum retinol oil for now.
Thanks Sarah! The new purito cream is an update of their B5 rebarrier cream ( a few changes, mainly the addition of the bamboo). Apparently this new one is quite similar to the original texturally and doesn’t quite absorb as well ( or something like that! Can’t remember exactly!). have you tried the original B5 Rebarrier ? It’s on sale here and was going to grab it tbh Thank you! I love seeing and hearing your positivity ( and yes- I am an insomniac like you… you replied to my comment yesterday ☺️🩵…)
@@NotImpressed22 thank you. Do you not like the new? I thought they were similar from what I’ve heard? Thank you so much for taking the time to write this ☺️
@paigeme886 I'm glad I could help, sort of, lol. I have not tried the new one, and I'm not sure if I will. I do not like change. When I love a product, I get mad when companies mess with it. I've also stocked up on the Purito Dermide Barrier Repair Moisturizer, just in case that's on the chopping block! 😉
I've got a few that I love - the Illiyoon Ato Ceramide Cream is the one with ceramides. I think Curel also makes a body lotion with ceramides in it. No ceramides but I still love the Klairs Supple Preparation All over Lotion and the Beauty of Joseon Jelloskin Moisturizer.
I got a sample GWP of the glow recipe retinol but haven't tried it yet. Honestly kinda scared I haven't had the best of luck with G.R or retinol . I was definitely getting a sample of it if could before buying it . Idk some of the advents are crazy priced for abuch of sample products the only ones that I see might be worth it is Stylevanna and the Korean ones. I do get tempted by spacenk and the others but the product is so tiny for the price . I do really want to try the medick8 peptides
i found that during the shipping the isntree vit c cream does separate a little bit, so I just squish is for a bit and squeeze it out a bit into the sink and after that it tends to fix and comes out as a thick cream. not grainy though at least and it was kind of matte. i've only been using it like, maybe two weeks? but so far it's alright! oddly hasn't been irritating for me - usually i'm unlucky with vit c and it breaks me out pretty badly in the first few days.
What a terrible formulation! The fact that it's separates while it's being shipped? Does not bode well for the formula of vitamin c, that's absolutely ridiculous, this isn't something that's meant to be shaken up and then squeezed out, there's no metal ball in there.
Vanicream has shampoo and conditioner but their hair proucts go by another brand name "Free and Clear". Not sure why, but if Vanicream works for your skin, you could try their hair products.
That vit c is interesting… T.Ordinary’s 30% vit C was bluddy awful 😅(30% is way too strong for my face, these days … might be tempted for hands, though) .
Sarah, it doesn't make much sense for a vitamin C to have such a high percentage, because then the maximum should be 20%, because if it goes above that concentration it is not absorbed into the skin. A hug 🥰
I tend to agree with you- especially with the likelihood of irritation occurring when the pH is so low and the amount is so high. So many people tend to think more is better but when it comes to skincare that isn't usually the case.
Alex educated mess raves about medik8 liquid peptides. Apparently the formula and how it gets into the skin is on the lines of “revolutionary” to some cosmetic chemists. I have it it felt sticky in the summer to me so I’m gonna try it again when it actually cools down
Interesting, this makes sense - I can't wait to do my full review of it. I've really enjoyed testing it so far and it plays really nicely with other products. They describe it as a "drone" targeted delivery system. Excited to do some reading up on this before my review!
A really beautiful Vitamin C product IMO is the Regelica Microbiome and Vitamin C Immunity support Essence. It's a watery-gel type toner with two vitamin C derivatives in it. It is very pleasant to use and has a very slight orange-like scent that is barely noticeable but adds a pleasant sensation when you first put it on. I love this stuff. For me, all the watery Vitamin Cs out there (I've used G&G, Timeless, & Prequel) have that unpleasant hot dog water smell which makes me NOT want to reach for them. I'm like you as far as mint scents go. Yuk. Oddly though I don't mind the smell of tea tree.
I've never heard of that brand before but I am intrigued- it looks nice! The main scents that irritate me is floral, and if it doesn't irritate my skin I just know it will give me a migraine.
Sara I hope everything is ok. You aren’t looking as vibrant as you used to, more pale too. Dont get me wrong you still look great but I can’t exactly pinpoint the difference.. just take care of yourself, ok? .
Oh thank you so much for your kind comments- I appreciate it! I've been having some issues with my thyroid. The doctors are prescribing me a medication that is supposed to help balance it and hopefully that will help, fingers crossed. 🙏

This makes sense- I've used both and I don't notice the difference either- they seem to be rebranding everything right now.
I don’t know why, but I couldn’t get this to stop pilling for me 😩 so I passed it on to a friend
Have you looked at anthropologies advent calendar & yesstyle advent? Look good. Never have bought one ! ❤
I love Purito so much. I have very acne prone forehead and literally anything can clog my pores. I love their moisturizers for my forehead and very affordable price tbh.
May I ask how to manage your forehead acne? My forehead is going crazy with inflamed acne for months. 😊
Yeah, frag-free lip balms (in the squeezy tubes) by La Roche Posay and Uriage are my favourites.
Yesss n This is Gonna b so Much Fun Sarah🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Tuesday😀….

Oh and im like you- I freak when there is the smallest change in one of the products I live!!! 😂🫣☺️
Theres a new purito bamboo cleanser too i saw it on amazon i think
Ooh interesting, I'm going to have to check that one out, too!
Please suggest some good Korean ceramide body lotions or moisturisers

Look up how hotel soap is made..rather recycled. It’s horrifying!
😮 You just reminded me of this- I read about this quite a long time ago but after reading your comment I just had a flashback!!!
