Venom or Charmer for me 😎👌 So catchy, and I love the vocal sections in both (all of them). But my favourite track on the album that makes me just curl up inside myself is "Waiting for Us". It melts me into a puddle of emotions ♡

Venom is a more "typical" sound for Stray Kids, but that's exactly why Maniac needed to be the title track. It's different from their other title tracks.

Becoz he barely had lines in Stray Kids songs - this album too he has the least lines I guess - but he has left a mark - and many reactors have said appreciated Lee Knows vocals in Maniac.

Charmer was originally written as title track and I can totally see it as a SKZ title track. Sad it didnt even get a video...it really deserved one even if Maniac won the title track role later. Also I can see Freeze as a Stray Kids title track too.

That hook drop off with Changbins aggressive voice is my favorite part on the album! Hands down best "wake up and pay attention" moments I've heard in a looong time. Although Freeze is my favorite song as a whole.

My favorite track from Oddinary is Muddy Water, but it would never have worked as the title track. Maniac is not my absolute favorite from this album, but I do feel it was the best choice for the title track--it has the right type of energy. It's catchy, it's memorable, relatively upbeat, and has a hook that almost anyone can sing. Maniac also has a clear message--"it's ok to be different, we are all a little different, just be your true self" that many people respond to positively. I really like Venom, but with it's eerie, creepy vibe, I don't think they ever seriously considered it as the title. Venom is talking about willingly walking into and staying in a toxic situation. That's off-putting and difficult for many people to accept, or even understand. I've been watching a lot of reactions to those two mv's. Almost everyone gets the Maniac message clearly and really likes it. In contrast, a lot of people are confused and disturbed by Venom's lyrics. Everyone comes up with a different interpretation, and a lot of people get really distressed no matter which interpretation they decide on. The clearer, more positive message of Maniac fits really well with Stray Kids overall image and what they want to say to Stays, and I think that's a big reason it's the title. They've mentioned in promotional material that initially Charmer was considered for the title, but they had doubts, and that when they heard Maniac, they all felt immediately that it was the title track. Stray Kids has a talent for recognizing what will catch the general public and bring in new people, and they are aware of the difference between a song that's an appropriate title, vs one that they personally love or are most excited by. They are super talented, super hard-working, and they also are very savvy.

One of the things I love most about SKZ is their diversity in sound. I think their strength lies in things like _not_ having one "signature sound" -- and I was glad when Han said the same thing recently. Having one sound considered "them" would lead to them being locked in and losing the freedom to experiment that's always been central to them. Which is one reason I appreciate Maniac -- it's yet another new sound for them. And to be clear, Maniac isn't my favorite track on the album. My favorite SKZ songs are basically _always_ in the b-sides, promoted or not. I enjoy the titles and adore some of the b-sides. What I appreciate is that SKZ knows how to use the title tracks -- they're to have the widest possible appeal and get attention from as many people as possible...so they'll get pulled in and take a chance on the rest of the gems in the albums. I honestly don't think the titles are ever the best songs on the albums, nor even the most specifically representative of SKZ, and I don't think they're _meant_ to be. The title tracks are the signboards out front of the restaurant to entice new customers to come in and explore the full menu. So I think Maniac did its job: sound good, be visually and sonically catchy, have wide appeal, and get attention so that people who might not have otherwise given the rest of the music a chance are getting drawn in.

Venom has clear theme of control and being controled mainly in relationship they have several songs that partly or fully have this theme,Red lights also part of Back Door with Changbin`s lyrics saying he will take control over the body of the listener since they didn`t take good care of it and he "will make it all better" For FREEZE ddang has several meanings in Korean it comes from the game freez unfreez and they use it in both meanings like since unfreeze is when the player can move so they let us move let us free. If we go with Maniac storyline it means that Felix is new so he is nervous. They are like detectives trying to catch gang leader of a group selling these green potions [ Side note maybe these are the ordinary SKZ since why they will be against the potion ,the potion looks like something that would make people oddinary it reminds me of Lix`s eye at the end of the thrailer] About the ending on the paper they say the boss was not captured after SKZ mission and described him as 20.y.o parted black hair ,this is the guy at the end with the gun looking at the camera - They didn`t know their enemy is Jeongin he is between them. This ties back to old theories of him having dobble .
You should be watching Gone Away (Seungmin, Han and IN) and Secret secret...Lee's voice is just heaven, and also all the arrangement is so thoughtful of their voices...

I believe that SKZ chose Maniac as title track because of the message of who they are and what kind of message they want to convey. They're not afraid to go out of their comfort zone and always experimenting on new sounds because that's who they are with a bit of weirdness as their normal thing. Originally, Charmer was a strong contender for title track but let's say this entire mini album is title track material every song!
I really recommend u VOICES PERFORMANCE VIDEO (it's ot8 ver, they have black outfit and the best performance video ever) it's R&B song u can hear hyunjin vocals in beginning ( in ot8 ver hyunjin sing start of song) u can hear his smooth rap too! I believe that SKZ chose Maniac as title track because of the message of who they are and what kind of message they want to convey. They're not afraid to go out of their comfort zone and always experimenting on new sounds because that's who they are with a bit of weirdness as their normal thing. Originally, Charmer was a strong contender for title track but let's say this entire mini album is title track material every song!

I really recommend u VOICES PERFORMANCE VIDEO (it's ot8 ver, they have black outfit and the best performance video ever) it's R&B song u can hear hyunjin vocals in beginning ( in ot8 ver hyunjin sing start of song) u can hear his smooth rap too! U will be crazy over leeknow vocals there seungmin I.N and han killed it that song!!
