Just for clarification. Yeast is fungus, not bacteria. Anyway, you produced great results. Yakult is bacteria though. Maybe you can try that one for another experiment and see which yields better results compared with yeast.

Welcome to our hobby bos,actually tank water already have small amount of infusoria and its serves as our starter,,,hehe, infusoria is good for newly hatch betta and angelfish fry even other tiny fry,,,hehe

Dose the container need to be capped with no air holes? Mine didn't work had a lid but has a couple little holes dose that matter? And I'm using active yeast powder, is that the correct yeast to use? Any answers are appreciated Thank you.
Active yeast is ok,,and no need to put lid,,,hehe,if you use banana or cabage thats the time u use lid because the nasty smell attracts flies,but yeast produces good bacteria and doesnt attract flies and no smell,,,hehe

I don’t have aquarium plants, but i have white stones and plastic plants in my tank water… when i wash the whole tank once a month i feel a slippery substance on the rocks and aquarium plants.. so does that old tank water contain infusoria? Can i culture with that?

Like you said, the vegetable method can take up to TWENTY days! By then, the fry would be long dead. This method appears to be much better! In addition to using aquarium water, I am also going to try a container with pond water. Thank you for this video!

This was the first brood from that fish, so I wasn't surprised. Sometimes it takes several attempts before a successful brood. I've been having cervical spine issues that led up to surgery in early October, so my activities have been really limited. Even doing things like water changes and filter cleaning is a challenge. Hopefully I will be back to normal by spring!
I make bread all the time and when you bloom your yeast you can use 110° Fahrenheit = 43.333 Celsius warm water but no hotter also if you add an equal amount of sugar to the yeast you are using it will bloom faster
