A recommendation for hanging the water house. Use a harrier spring clamp mounted to your back door. Easy to in clamp but also easy to pour from the door without getting water in the trooper.
Hey Mate, good effort! In my experience though you'll run into chipping etc pretty quickly with this kind of paint job, especially if you do alot of miles or 4wding. Next time just get it all sandblasted and powder coated.
I think the better question is, is there any reason strip all the old paint off first? 😁 As long as the surface has been prepped properly, you can prime and paint over existing paint
Funny you should say that but I just think these are plain ugly and I will never ever install one on me HZJ75. On top of that, they are so heavy and put additional weight in a place you really don't want to have it 🙃
@@buschtaxi75driver55 most of us don't have a choice mate, without decent front protection from animal strikes you risk getting stranded in the middle of no where.

Is there any reason not to strip all the old paint off first?

@@allterraintrails gotcha. I wasn't sure if it's best practices or not.
I'd love to have barework for my troopy at all... but thats not easy in Europe... stupid pedestrian protection laws... 😂 Greetings, Björn
Got to love those laws 😂 because the 2.5tonne LandCruiser that hits them is alot nicer when it has no bullbar
@@gureno19 Of course, and it will deform under impact to protect and beware of bruises and injuries🤣

@@gureno19 Yeah, I know what you mean. I guess if you are based down under, you are probaby right but here in Europe, this is no issue really 😉
