I love much this animation covered about Zero, from his Z3-4 Ex skill and Chip systems being fully utilized, his glass canon properties being visible throughout the fight, and especially the Ranbu combo belonging to Omega being used near the end. This felt like a Zero update showcase while also keeping the stakes of the fight itself very high. Well done.

what i like about your fighting animations is that it's not unbalanced, it's not just a compilation of combos, they're in a equivalent lvl constantly during the fights here, and you are really going beyond making these animations that smooth.🥶 good job dude👍

Wonderfully explosive movement! The little touches signifying when a character takes damage, when they’re parrying, and when they’re blocking are incredibly well done as well!
This is really good but CALM DOWN ON THOSE HEAVY CAM SHAKES. You need to understand that not every hit needs a hard camera shake. I still like the anim but try to experiment with medium and light cam shakes

Even though this is just a fan animation with over 10k views, this is honestly some of the best animation and choreagraphy i‘ve ever seen. Even at 0,25 speed they still move incredibly fast. :)
I like this style of animation that is very reminiscent of fighting games and even platform games from the 80s and 90s and it's a style that I want to have one day when I start animating again.

Oh btw, I made some ryu JUS sprites if interested and theres a Chun li Jus on mugen but you'll have to ripp them out the old fashion way through fighter factory. Until I can get a new job, I've reduced myself to pixel animation temporary and I'm making sprites for future projects. Other street fighters are on my list.
Everything's solid until the final part. Zero's the type of guy to finish it off with style, not a freeze. Felt unsatisfying. Probably because he already did the same thing with the ice freeze. I *would* suggest a final shot with Zero lifting Sonic's heart above but that's way too edgy for this channel I feel. Maybe a sends-you-through-five-mountains dramatic finish moment?
The thing is that most bosses Zero faces are finished with him cutting them in two, which obviously would be a little too much with a character that isn't a robot.

Although I’ve loved your style before, it’s NOTHING compared to now. Your style back then was more simple and just a tad bit slow in order for the attacks to be seen. But now? It’s even more fluid, you can still see the attacks even as they fly by, and it’s just impeccable..
This is so incredible! Not only is the animation incredible smooth has usually, but the impact of the attack feels a lot heavier than your previous animations. Excellent use of Zero’s abilities, btw. I don’t mind the result honestly. The final blow was awesome. Sonic wins a lot of these sprite animation anyways, plus Zero is still cool af. Also, is there anywhere I could look to get easy access to those Zero sprites in a sprite sheet?
Quick analisis after a while, yes,we all know sonic is stronger and faster than zero, however sonic canonically holds back his full power (i won t explain why here) Zero though has more endurance and adaptabily than sonic since being a reploid he is capable of improve his fighting data as the fight progresses, which in sonic case he acts more on instinct (wild sense)which is not an absolute way to outfight your opponent but is still strong So the fight result is actually accurate Sonic starts strong, Zero endures and adapts till a point sonic ends up taking too many hits between recoveries, ofc if sonic went all out on zero he would have won undoubtely, but he didn t , and personaly it would be very boring to watch
I mean, maybe at the end he could have gone all out on Zero? I dunno, those days fight animations are more prone to personal likes rather then actual feats, power levels and statistics
@xiao4408 honestly is more satisfying seeing sonic beating up enemies while holding back since when he goes all out the fight gets unbalanced and i believe Sonic itself sees that if he just blasted though everything not only it would be boring but also create a lot of controversies due to the entire sonic plot,since sonic always faces enemies that he could have killed if he wanted

Lovely choreography. I don't mind sonic losing to zero. My one bit of criticism is to go lighter with the camera shake, it makes certain combos harder to follow.
This animation was great but I would love to see Tails get his own 1 v1 fight sense sonic and knuckles had their own. Plus tails using tech and weapons makes his battle style more interesting then sonic, and knuckles who are mostly close range.

Now, here’s my explanation: Most of the weapons here that zero used are from mmz1-3, so we’ll assume this takes place in the middle of his mmz3 games timeline. Mmz3 was made in 2004… know what else was? Yup! Sonic advanced 3. So if we assume this is happening in between both of those journeys, zero definitely wins! Zero, who has been fighting for many years (though sonic has too so not that good of a point), with a literal saber that can chop through almost anything, vs sonic from sonic advanced 3 with NO chaos emeralds, as the plot of sonic advanced 3 is that he’s finding chaos emeralds through his adventure, zero definitely has the upper hand here, as sonic can’t even go super while zero literally has a light/plasma saber 😭 (how did bro not get cut up in the animation) So, it’s not that good of an explanation but that’s what I believe. If this took place anywhere before or after sonic would def solo based on feats, but if this takes place in 2004, zero definitely has upper hand here. Everyone is entitled to their opinions though!! After all, these animations are meant for fun and the creator admitted he made zero win so yeah.
