Passivation is not pacification, pedantic engineer is pedantic but materials science was my major so... But great little kegs, have a few for homebrew mead storage here in Scotland. Playing around with some light forced carbonation and these are just perfect for taking over to a friends place. Only downside is the seam welding but at such low pressures it's not an issue. Love em. Edit: It's the internal welding and great standard that sold me on them in the first place, love that you actually stamp a pressure on them.

Great info and amazing to see inside. No way anyone would order a cheap keg off ebay or aliexpress after watching this.

Hi. Do you sell separately the lid for the 2L mini keg KL06347? I got one secondhand with a ball lock lid but it didn't come with the plain lid. If you do, what's the part number please? Thanks.

I am sorry but we do not sell the lid separatly at this stage.

    Nice explanation Kee!
Just a suggestion for your TH-cam uploads, how about putting a link to the relevant product in your store? It can only sales.
    Cheers

Would it be possible to make the top weld a thread instead so that you could just screw off the top to clean it? Or would it not work with the pressure?

I am not sure this would completely solve the issue. We would then have to weld another socket onto the keg neck for the current keg neck to screw into.
We did consider using tri-clover instead but then our mini kegs would not be compatible with other ones on the market and we were a bit concerned about that too.
