So a lot of people have been asking me this and I'm sorry if I didn't reply. I was sorting out how I feel about what happened. Now, I'd like to share how we started and why I left. Thank you for understanding.

Because of this video and comments, I just realized that you were that best featured violinist in Yesterday when I was Young cover, first time I ever heard the song and so classy with your violin part, it was mesmerizing - now I have to go back and watch it again! I just appreciate music, so I was not paying much attention to any behind the scenes with the GG vibes and band, but it’s good to know the truth, which always leads you the right way. Your version of "Yesterday When I Was Young" (during GG Vibes Live) was the best version of the song that I have ever heard in my life. It is so good that I listen to it everyday at work/home or whenever I needed to remind myself of how wonderful life can be. That intro and harmony is already a masterpiece. I'm not a musician but you are the person I really admire on the GG Vibes band and it's sad not seeing you anymore playing music with them. Deep inside I'm still longing to see you jam with them in the future. Still, I wish you well and luck for your new found journey in life. You are the best!

Hi sir LA. This explains the sudden exit at a time when the band was peaking and on the verge of breaking through to greater heights. I just noticed that when you left the band, somehow they veered away from the jazzy, soulful, sophisticated, classy tones or selection of music and whole presentation in general. They delved more into rock and similar genres...not saying that its bad. But sayang, especially Gigi's voice and her looks before were really fit with the classy, jazzy, soulful vibe, one of the main reasons why I became a fan. But, this is just an observation. The band has all the right to move to whatever direction they think is better for them. I just miss the old Gigi and the whole band in general. I hope they can somehow re-group or re-evaluate their options as artists/musicians once everything is all clear with GIgi. Wish them the best. As a fan, I appreciate your time to explain your decision, wishing you success on the next chapter of your life along with your family in Canada. But don't forget your passion for great, quality music and musicianship. Keep on sharing it. Godspeed sir.

I also miss the old Gigi. Like you said the jazzy, sophisticated numbers were played at the very beginning. Gigi made a name for herself with the Karen Carpenter's songs interpretations. Diane Reeves song "Better Days" sung by Gigi is an absolute triumph. Incredible interpretation. This was a group that recorded "Hosanna" and would say "Happy Easter" during a Holy Week streaming. Then LA left and something changed and not for the better. I guess the Vibes wanted to appeal to a different crowd and now they are recording Sam Smith's "Unholy." If you have been paying attention, Sam Smith is a demonic performer. Take a second and search him right here in this platform. I just wish Gigi the best, she has that rare combination of good looks and immense talent. But her current choices sure are troubling. I cannot get over with her obsessions with tattoos. A beautiful girl marking her body like that. I am afraid the 16 year old girl that started with Serenata Strings is long gone. That is a shame!

I love LA when he's still in the band but they have to evolved and cater to different audiences and not get stucked to certain genres like some people want so it's understandable they're doing what they're doing now whatever it is. I missed LAs violin playing but Oyus is a great replacement cuz he could also sing and he's also an exceptional guitarist.Unholy is such a great one from Gigi and she is showing her versatility like no other and her confidence is even more evident in her recent live performances so it should be a good thing and not a bad one like some people are trying to say
here.Stop the negatives, things happens for a reason and if it's not meant to be we all have to lived with it.

I don't know if you remember me, but you once gave me a shout out, during one of the band's live stream, I requested Slow Dancing in a Burning Room lol. I also commented "we want LA back" when I started to notice you weren't appearing anymore. Gigi saw that comment, I noticed she was a bit irritated. She said, "edi kunin mo" lol. Anyway, skl haha. Hi sir LA, silent fan here. Ngayon ko lang ito nalaman. Nung napansin ko na hindi ka na lumalabas sa mga post ng gg vibes ay medyo na-curious and nalungkot ako somehow idk. Hindi mo man ako kilala pero gustong gusto ko / na-aapreciate ko yung mga take mo sa mga song covers ninyo noon pag nag-lilive kayo sa fb or even kapag magpopost ng cover ang gigivibes dito sa youtube. TBH mas gusto ko kayo na gitarista kasi malinis at maganda pakinggan ang mga areglo mo at hindi nasasapawan ang ka-banda, kesa doon sa bago nila ngayon sa aking opinyon lamang. Palagi ko inuulit ulit yung through the fire x piano in the dark, till they take my heart away, saving all my love for you saka if ever you're in my arms again at marami pang iba. Just learned now the history of GG vibes band, I used to watch your live music sessions 3 years ago. We met your dad, Serenata Strings provided memorable music in our wedding January 2008 in Tagaytay. BTW, where are you in Canada?

The band is still intact...they are solid and with sir Oyus who help Gigi with the vocals they seems to be more stronger now...they can play all genras...they do rock/jazz/rnb/almost all. 4:49
For me gigi vibes is perfect on their own..please don't be bitter and encourage people not to support them..They're all talented artists..

I stumbled Into Gigi and the band on line- she was sitting down - I thought, oh no, she can't walk maybe - so looked her up and saw all was fine. Watched and still watch all they put out and your videos too. Overall, you and the current band are great musicians but also the video, sound quality, music itself, and all the people involved seem like decent, spiritually inclined people. I am American, no Filipino blood in me but visited the Philippines in 1984 with a big meditation group- wow, do you Filipinos treat foreign visitors nicely- we went to visit faith healers- there were maybe 100 people in line but they would insist that we go to the front. Anyway, thank you for your explanation - your choice, good luck with that.

Why not make it a business. Your dad made it a business. Singing at different venues is a business. You can’t just concentrate on music because it’s your bread and butter. I think, your father groomed Gigi into an amazing artist that she became the star and the rest of the band members are so powerful, amazingly talented that Gigi would not be able to do it alone Gigi Vibes is the name of the entire band. Signing a contract is making a commitment and I’m sorry that you deferred. Regardless wish you the best and keep your passion for music intact.

It was for another business. I didn’t want to sign the contract because of some red flags. That other business is not related to music, which is our core competence.
I wouldn’t have left if we focused on Gigi Vibes as a business.

I trust my brother. He may be a new lawyer, but he’s been a CPA for a decade.
The due diligence that we did and the red flags were enough for me to say, “no, I don’t want to be part of this”. Whatever happened to it, I’m not in a position to say, since I’ve never been involved.
It’s good to take your family’s decision. Otherwise the people you love and see the most in your life would keep saying “I told you so” every time you see them (if things go bad). This must have been so hard on you but I’m sure your father, rest in peace, guided you.

avid fan ako ni Gigi at Gigi Vibes from pandemic times pa. to be honest mas gusto ko yung style ng banda nung nandun pa si LA. Pero kahit nagbago na, fan pa din ako. Too bad hindi nag workout, Kaso syempre as a group, majority wins. Naiintindihan naman both sides. Pero im sure friends pa din naman kayo ng band members
