Whoa, I didn't expect color to fill the entire lighthead! Super cool, the "dots" was the thing I didn't like about the cobra/titan line. I almost fell out of my seat when you turned it to the side and there was light coming out at 180 degrees even with the 40 degree optics.
i have the dash mount 180 deg one, its super nice but it doesnt seem to penetrate the 5%tint too much, i guess the 40 deg one is definitely gonna shine!
I am ready to buy only a Feniex Fusion dual color set for a VW THING 1971, My question is: once I installed and wired the lights, every time I want to change the lights mode/pattern, should I go to the cables, disconnect them and switch them? or is there a controller/switch to do that? Inside the fusion box there is a controller to do that? Regards and thank you in advance
kidacero - Thanks for watching. There is no Fusion box. The lights can be wired to a momentary switch, so you can change the flash patterns after they’re installed. You can also accomplish this with the Feniex 4200 mini controller..
Do I need two switches to change from one color flashing...to both color flashing? Just confused on how you switch from single color to dual. Thx. If so, do you make or someone make a switch that can do this all together so that I would not need 2 switches?
Yes, each mode is controlled by its own wire. When 12+ is applied to that wire, it flashes the color & flash pattern chosen by you. The Feniex 4200 Mini switch panel is a great choice!
Jesse Uribe - Single color lights only have one mode, you have to jump to dual color to get 2 modes. In a dual color configuration, both chosen colors have the same quantity of leds (6) of each color. The brightness doesn't change.
If I am looking at the pictures correctly, the reflector for each LED pair is slightly oblong, with the LED's nestled side by side? I am assuming a very slight shadowing of illumination to the opposite side of the reflector by the adjacent LED, but nothing really noticeable?
The 40° optics are brighter if they are behind window tint, compared to the 180° optics but as far as the Led's - they are equal as far as power. The main difference is the light spread... The 40° will keep the light more focused, to be seen at a greater distance, the 180° optic gives you a wide spread of light. So, you are able to use either light in depending on it's placement.
Great product, but buyer beware: Almost half of the single-color flash patterns advertised are not actually in the light. Feniex confirmed that all of the "Split" patterns were misprinted onto the package.
I agree. I have a Whelen Avenger dash light and it is fantastic but I have thought about an old strobe light or rotator with the snap on mirror for at night and in bad weather. Rotators look awesome at night in fog rain and heavy snow

If paused at 2:02, those small holes in the back of the light head, are those there incase you wanna stud mount those or are they the heat sync?

You always want to go with focused optics behind window tint: 40° - It keeps the light in a tighter pattern.
true,i haven't got the 40 deg yet, but i suppose it would work much better.

thanks for these videos. Definitely helps me out...just purchased some stuff from you.
1)Does the single color (white) has the flashing and the flood mode too?
2)Is the single color brighter than the dual color? thanks

Are these brighter than the 180 degree?

How embarrassing.
Split colors are no longer available, since the inception of dual color technology into the Fusion. It's either Single color or Dual.
There is going to come a time where LED lighting product is going to be TO bright especially for night use. Impressive product tho
They already are too bright for night time use. Which is why emergency lights need to be hooked up to a dimmer that activates with the headlights.
