Thank you! 💖
With an excellent teacher like this, I’ll learn Dutch in no time.
It's other Dutch it's afrikaans
@@maureenmatlala1490 It is Flemish, not Afrikaans. That is a big difference!
@@ajaxamsterdam9095 no
@@ajaxamsterdam9095 Maybe you didn't learn at all because I am still in grade 3
@@maureenmatlala1490 Nanou is from Belgium, not from South Africa. So it is Flemish, not Afrikaans.
I love these teaching you languages ASMR thanks so much gorgeous!

But this isnt Dutch, its Flemish right? Never in my life have I heard anyone here use the word "short" or "shortje". We just say "korte broek."
what impresses me about nanou is her effort to make a good asmr video thank you for your asmr nanou😁✌
My pleasure 😊💖
Without a doubt these classes are so relaxing, one like that does study hahaha. You have a gift for explaining and for making it so relaxing. Also that the dutch is so calm and relaxing, thanks for that!
I swear it's you at the bottom of every asmr video I memorized your name it's very interesting :))
The world is a better place with these videos! Thank you Nanou :) you look nice ❤️
😊 thank you 💖
This is obviously awesome ASMR once again, but I'd absolutely *love* it if you'd do this but with up close whispering and pencil writing sounds instead, I'd love it if you could do that! 😊
As another relaxation channel, I can say that this channel is amazing, deep sleep is guaranteed
I was waiting for this video so much I swear. I love nanou teaching us her language😍😍❤
Hope you enjoyed it! 💖
@@NanouASMR of course😁😁❤
Yay, another video of teacher Nanou! Thank you very much for continuing to teach us and for being patient hehehe. Hugs and greetings💖🧸😌

I love your videos where you teach us different languages, Nanou! The content is very relaxing to watch and I really appreciate it! 🥰
Woooow! I was just watching the other video of "teaching you dutch" You are the best Nanou!
Greetings from Costa Rica 🇨🇷
In the Netherlands we don't say ''shortje'' we just say ''korte broek'' (short pants) And a dress is a ''jurk'' . Yea I know It's an ugly word isn't it?
And it's words like ''shortje'' and kleedje that are exactly the reason why I like the Belgian Dutch so much 👍 They come up with some really good words sometimes.
Ik zocht al naar deze comment
"Kleedje" (and similar forms like klaid, kleeke, kliedje etc.) is traditionally the word for "dress" in dialect of Zeeland, North Brabant, Limburg, de Achterhoek, Groningen and other areas in the north, east and south of the country of the Netherlands. "Jurk" was a local form in other parts of the country, acknowledged as the standardized form and therefore largely replaced the local form in areas where they used "kleedje". It's therefore not necessarily the Belgians who came up with it.
I call those short pants "shorts". I don't use the diminutive "shortje". I barely use "korte broek", as "shorts" is shorter.
@@r.v.b.4153 In Groningen as well ? I never heard someone in the north use that but I could be wrong. A ''kleedje'' in the northern half of the Netherlands is actually something you put on the floor. But there are of course loads of dialects.
I learn more from you than I learn in school

I loved the sound of the marker hitting the whiteboard. Your hair is fabulous.
Never thought relaxation and learning would go together ...
I’m just going to comment this because how proud of myself I am right now. I’m really into languages so when first saw one of your videos i wanted to guess what language you were speaking. I am I was so spot on. I first thought German maybe but the way you spoke was way calmer. So I settled for dutch. But dutch didn’t sound exactly right either. (Due to the trilled R) so I actually guessed Flemish and I got it right. I am celebrating in peace and quiet since it is soon midnight. Thank you. Cheers from Norway.
as a dutch person from the netherlands i was SO confused for the biggest part 💀 i was like girl wth all are these words but then i realized ur vlaams 😭
Prc wat ik dacht 💀
I remember when you were at 24k subs, crazy how far you’ve come, love your vids

I got sooo excited when I saw this video because I’ve watched all of the teaching videos and I’ve been waiting for another. Thanks for the great content.

Ever since I watched the first one you did of teaching us Dutch I was so obsessed with it and I really wanted you to do another one and then you did another one and I’m so happy and I love your ASMR ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ and I love u
yess i wanted this vid soo bad
Thanks for this new video nanou! Dutch is a very nice language, thanks for putting me to sleep and for the dedication! Greetings and keep it up!
as much as i care you are a far better foreign language teacher than anyone i ever had in school. I can not comprehend how i still remember every word you taught in the dutch language in these videos than anything was told by my french teacher at school. Either dutch is far easier than french or my teacher really failed to get my attention as a teacher because i couldn't remember anything from her a couple of hours after the lesson was over....either way KUDOS NANOU
@@deathrowbbx yeah, i see your point
@@deathrowbbx I don't think most Dutch people will agree with you. French is difficult to learn for us. Your situation is different because you speak both languages.
For Dutch people English is easier to learn, maybe even German is more similar to Dutch.
@@deathrowbbx I think it depends on your native language. Chinese/Japanse/Korean/Thai/Hindi/Russian are even more difficult for us to learn.
But ok, Dutch is the hardest language in Western Europe, together with German, I can agree with you on that.👍
@@deathrowbbx OK, now I know why you said that!
I am talking about most people. That is a big difference!👍

I know this was about teaching us Dutch but I absolutely love Nanou hair, I hope she does like hair brushing/styling/playing video soon.
I got a hoodie from the website, it came quickly and my whole family loves it. I’m going to buy the other one
Love you girl keep doing what you love to do and you should get to 1 mil In no time stay safe
Actually, turning on the Dutch subtitles was a really useful learning tool for me in this video. ASMR is slow enough that I had enough time to read and digest each sentence.
OHWWW 2MINUTEN GELEDEN!! ❤️❤️😀Love you!
Side note, Not Just Bikes Channel has been teaching me all the great things about the Netherlands. You live in a cool country. And your ASMR is great. Thank you.

Maja is right, Nanou is from Belgium, but I know the channel Not Just Bikes!
They are right about the fact that the Dutch handle traffic better then the USA.👍
Shows how much i know lol, but she's close enough to it.
I'm Afrikaans which is similar to Dutch so it's was pretty easy for me and I love your videos 🥰

Nanou: No. It's Broek

I’ve probably watched this video a thousand times and forget what the words are every time because I fall asleep to it so much
💕 Get Well !! Thank you for this relaxing Video !!
Hey Nanou, Leuke video!
Keep up the good stuff! LOVE de videos met je mammie :D
Wow I’ve never been this early!! I love your videos 😊
I'm so happy you are OK Nanou 👍 And now I van enjoy your teaching video as they are my favourite. The one you done on animal names was so sweet. Keep it up Swaetheart xx 😘
I have been living in The Netherlands for 6 years now, and I speak around A2-B1 level Dutch now, but it is always so nice to practice!! Thank you for the amazing video!
Oh just realized this is Flemish haha! At 'juwelen' I was like heh that is sieraden, did not realize you lived in the Belgian part. Super cool to see these differences in language.
@@gigik640 Nah, that's also common in Dutch from the Netherlands. A shop that sells jewelery is also called a "juwelier". "Juwelen" is not a synonym of "sierraden" though. "Sierraden" is a much broader term. If you for example have a wooden bracelet, it's a "sierraad" but not a "juweel". A "juweel" is a "sierraad" made from expensive materials like gold or silver. Hope this helps you out.
I really liked watching you write on the board, very relaxing.
Omg I LOVE THIS!!

Some words are only being used in Belgium, for example Kleedje people don’t use in the Netherlands, but Belgium does.
Can we appreciate how she posts so often ✨
Thank you nanou
Welcome 😊💖
As a dutch person from the netherlands, i find it very interessting to learn how some words differ. Like dress, we say 'jurk'.
Congrats Nanou!! You're the best ❤
OMG! YOU'RE JUST IN TIME FOR US HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES. THIS IS WHY I LOVE YOU!

Its currently 6am and i still havent slept yet this really halped thank you nanou 💖❤️
When I watch your video I feel happy
Thankyou for your new video
Being afrikaans it's cool to see how much the languages are similar especially since there aren't many afrikaans asmr creators if any so it's cool to hear a language i can kinda understand in asmr that's similar to afrikaans. I've seen that dutch from southern holland and rotterdam is closer to afrikaans than dutch spoken in amsterdam. But honestly i thought you were speaking flemish before because it's even closer to afrikaans. You being from belgium and all. Some words were exactly the same but some not, like shorts we call kort broek and a dress is also called a Rok, jacket we also call jas but we have a synonym that is more frequently used "baadjie" which also works for jackets but is actually supposed to refer to a blazer specifically but it's used as slang for jacket instead of jas. Then instead of sokken we say kous or kouse(plural) or kousies for diminutive but we also say sokkies as diminutive and sokkie is a dans we do and the name comes from dancing close in a wooden floor hall on your soks hence sokkie. But now we dance in shoes tho. Shoes we call skoene, hakken we just call hakke or hoë hakke (high heels). We also can say ondergoed but mostly use onderklere or specifically call it a onderbroek (menswear and womens bottoms) and just bra for well bra. Juwelen is just juwele. We also say keting but that's usually used for mens chains, womens necklace is called a hanger more often a hangertjie. But both are interchangeable we just tend to call the bulkier ones keting because chain is also called keting and hangertjie sounds more soft and elegant like a thin pretty necklace. All in all it's cool to think i can like 90% speak and read multiple foreign languages.
