I learned to play Chess when I was 6 years old, and I learned to read when I was 3 years old. Now I work in a McDonalds. I'm an adult and I didn't even finished the Highschool. I never learned how to play a guitar and I forgot how to play chess. I read only manga and fantasy books. My parents are dissapointed, they don't know I've lost my will at 15 years old. I just don't know why I gave up. I'm a big fail, and I know it. Then I listened this song and cannot stop crying. I used to think "I will be the king" all the time, what happened to me?

it's because they expected way too much from a kid. you're not some epic superhero but you're not a super loser because you don't live up to that, you're just an average person trying to get by. the most anyone can have nowadays is find a way to be consistently happy.

People expecting great things from other people its not a trauma, it's a human thing. I think a lot and realized that even if my parents feel a little bit disappointed, they've been with me in every choice I make. I still live in their house, and I have a work bc of my mom. She's still teaching me and I'm still learning. I think that if I ever give up and start blaming my disgrace in other people, I'll never grow up. Things will never change this way. I own my decisions. And people thinking that I'm better than I actually am just shows me that I'm capable of a lot of things. I think that I became arrogant and egotistic in some way, that I stop trying to improve bc I saw myself as perfect enough. I'm not the worst, but I'm not good. I'm not doing my best, I can be better. And being conformist it's not gonna help me. The best I can do its own my mistakes and improve instead of blaming it on people who have always been by my side. And furthermore, our surroundings are never gonna change. The society attitude it's voluble and changing. We cannot control the circumstances, but we can control our attitude. We should be grateful, we should appreciate what we have, but we shouldn't be conformists.
