A lot of nice info! This is one of those games where it tells you nothing when you start so a short and sweet tips video was what I was looking for! Cheers!
During the day in the low level areas, Goblin Foragers spawn which have a chance to drop both armor and 6 slot bags. At night, the Foragers stop spawning and are replaced with skeletons which drop armor and rusted weapons. Put down every Forager you can find and say mean things to them while you do.
100% they also dropped the cost of the vendor bags and increased coin drop which will work in getting some bank bags early on or filling those missing bag slots!
Tip #1 for new players. You're a alpha/beta tester for the dev. You need to report bugs , glitches and give your feedback. Dont expect this game to work properly. Lower your expectations. Have fun.
first thing for newbies to know is that the game wont be released for at least 2 more years. til then, you're just looking for bugs and exploits. have fun "going forth to kill 5 toads"
True, I am planning on releasing some sort of new player guide that highlights that this is basically alpha testing and there will be bugs and challenges etc. Good call out!
@@arthaxunleashed I would also point out that core elements that were to be in game are simply not at least for this testing phase (like the mana atmospheric adjustments that Brad used to talk about), so those who have been following development for several years should not go into EA with those types of expectations.
This system may or not make it but as of now you lose the ability to sprint and your regen of health and mana go away. I am hoping for Food/Water to be just a buff vs a detriment.
@@michaelzoppo6333 you have a limited hotbar so two shaman can run different things. Like a lot of shaman don't run Beginners Hunch but with two shaman you could run that along with the other buffs. And one shaman could load up mostly on dps.
@@michaelzoppo6333 Paladins are very strong right now. They are working on balancing readiness and essence gain with 2H weapons. But you'll like paladin either way!
It might not be a good idea to use abbreviations for things when teaching newbies without first explaining what the full word is. So saying "Make sure you 'con' mobs" might make some players think "Am I running a confidence Scam?", instead of knowing that 'con' is short for 'consider' the target. Remember, anyone who knows what you mean when you say 'con' doesn't need your newbie tips!
@@Grimfest14 they scaled down the graphics because the game is crowd funded. It grows on you pretty quick. The combat and game is engaging and fun. LOTS of work left to do but I've enjoyed it thoroughly.
@@moforyguy6803 The servers are packed on Pantheon with what some would call a Massive player base. Most servers are on their 3rd shard because of crowding. Have fun button mashing on POE. I'm having fun not doing that on Pantheon.
Great list.
For those that don’t know you press C key to con mobs

You mean you don’t just sit in OOC chat and complain about how terrible the game is ? Seems to be the thing now.

It reminds me of Betas 2 & 3 of EQ. Those were good times.
Tips for locating corpse would be helpful
/loc when you die is going to give you postional info. Also Necro and Summoners can now summon your corpse! (new in EA)!
What are the penalties for low hunger and thirst? I hope the upkeep for these isn't as tedious as some survival games.

What makes 2 shamans different? Are there talents? Or is it the spells you choose to have on the hotbar?

Yep! I forget some folks have never played this type of game. My wife is one of them! lol
Thank you!
You're welcome! Glad you found this useful! More new player guides to come!
this looks like vangard, saga of heroes. a game i played in 2007

This is 40 dollars and POE 2 is 30 dollars. Not a hard choice.
Pantheon Right?! lol PoE is gonna be GOOD!
POE is not a mmorpg , it is hack and slash
Totally different style

Is there a map mini or anything?
@@Justin928 No map at all. There will be a cloth map at some point but no GPS style map.
Ok so they stole some ideas from Embers Adrift.. cool.
Yea it was a good feature in Embers. Something tangible to help guide you but not allow you to navigate by stating at the map.
