There are one significant different. Optimus legs are folded inside the back box in the movie, he is in a "ball crouch" position. While in this toy, his legs are in sit down in the floor position. The biggest problem in bayformers are: they are all can be a parts formers.

I really like this figure. I really applaud the engineering and the paint applications! I have three gripes with it though: the smokestacks are very short in vehicle mode, I wish they could telescope in and out, the red chest paneling is awkward and doesn’t sit very well and causes some issues, and part of the red back paneling should go over the chrome tanks. It such a fantastic figure. The problem is it’s just too good of a figure to have those issues. It really makes them glaring.
The smokestacks actually do telescope out for alt mode. This guy just has them down in the vid 🤷♂ The chest paneling, altho I think it resembles the T1 movie version quite well, also can be modified. There is an accessory kit that gives him abs to resemble the DOTM (and maybe ROTF?). I think it looks pretty great.
Only thing I don't like about this version of Optimus is how short the smoke stacks are in vehicle mode. I'd rather have them too long in robot mode than too short in vehicle form. Same can be said about the Studio Series Optimus Prime in general

I get so torn over this version of Optimus, as I tend to be with the Michael Bay films as a whole. I think there are some aspects of his redesign for the 2007 film that make a lot of sense or just look dang cool, but I'm realizing that his silhouette doesn't really call to mind the Prime that fans of G1, the Cybertron Trilogy, or TFA would have been used to at that point. And I think I have some gripes with the color scheme -- I feel like the flame decals kinda detract from his overall design, and the seemingly random mixing of blues and reds across his torso feels weird if you look too closely. That said, I always really liked the design of his helmet in the Bay films, and the retractable energon blades will never not be cool. Probably why TFP Prime is one of my favorite designs, as he really puts to use all the best points of Bayverse Prime and G1 Prime combined. Anyhoo, long rant, cool video, awesome figure.

I truly dislike all Bayformers I think they're an ABOMINATION, especially that Especially that Devastator looking like a possessed dog on all 4s, so with that being said thus Prime is Phenomenal, what Weijang did with the engineering and improved everything about the mpm-4 is a feat of it's own this is a TRUE MASTERPIECE 🙏🙏📹😃👍
