    HOW TO DRY PINE CONES IN YOUR OVEN ~
    Preheat oven to 200 degrees ~ Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spread pine cones across it in a single layer. Bake for approx. 30 minutes.
    Remove from oven and let them rest until the sap feels dry.
    This drying process should kill any little critters inside and will melt the sap due to the heat.

    Hi Lori. Beautiful ideas. I had also collected some pinecones sometimes. The idea of sand and talc is great. The ornaments look very beautiful. Thanks for sharing. 😍

    Your pinecone ornaments came out so pretty. They would be nice to make in sets of 3 or 4 and give them as a gift to people for Christmas. My favorite is the one with the white bow and the rusted jingle bells. Awesome job my friend! Hugs from the southeast coast on Florida🌴😎🎄😎🌴

    Great diys!! I have a neighbor who gave me some to use for crafts so I'll make some for her too. Clever using sand and babypowder!!!
    By the way, how did we manage to get anything done before hot glue?? I remember using Alene's Thick & Tacky in the pink wide mouth jar. It was as thick as tar lol

    How would you make colored flock?

    • @LoriBlyeDIY
      @LoriBlyeDIY  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Vanessa, So happy you stopped by! I would make colored flock by first adding some food coloring to the white sand and once you get the desired color, then adding in the talc/baby powder. I colored some sand in my other videos and it comes out really nice ~ Have fun, friend! XXOO
