Thank you!!! I just finished drawing a gorgeous green heron, perched on a branch amidst a backdrop of reeds on Monday. I was planning to keep the background white because I had no idea how to tackle the blurred reeds. I saw your video yesterday and decided to go for it! I can't believe how easy it is, especially when you use non-staining pigments (easy to lift out reeds). You're the best!

Oh wow. This is the best watercolor bird painting i've ever seen. And I'm not exaggerating. I really like your style. Like it's realistic but if you look closely you could see the brushworks from the watercolor (other bird paintings I've seen are either too much of each extremes.) i don't mean to compare--just my preference. I like your style better. 💚🕊

Both😃🌸Background mostly wet on wet but the bamboo sticks - a lot of it wet on dry...
