This is an idea I've had in my head for 4 months now????? And I'm so so happy with how it turned out!!!!! It's my big love letter to tma s5 before it ends so I hope you enjoy it!

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!! The way Jon keeps walking for a couple seconds not realizing he left Martin behind, the glare in Martin's glasses, the blood on Martin's cheek, and Basira with her gun! AHHHH I LOVE ALL THE DETAILS AND HOW FLUID THE MOVEMENT IS! You really feel like you're on the journey with them ❤

i am losing my MIND ... i'm having so many emotions about season 5 all over again, thank you for this. it gets across so many different feelings about the season, like how jonmartin is finally together, but it's utterly bittersweet and will almost certainly end in tragedy... plus your composition is simply lovely, your framing of shots is wonderful and all the animated moments are incredibly eyecatching. just fantastic work

This is so good! So tender, so funny so many times (love the short "stops in the journey" sequences, Martin's faces, Upton House…) but also so heartwrenching (the hugs, Martin's Lonely moments, BASIRA...). Each moment is immediately recognisable. Great job, lovely watch.

Holy shit this is one of my favorite TMA animatics ever?? I love the fluidity of certain parts, like when Jon turns and does a lil hair bounce! All the art is rlly cool and you put just the right scenes to the lyrics! I love this sm!! (also your Helen is *chefs kiss*)
hey OP just wanted to let you know that this animatic is what got me into TMA. I saw it a year or two ago when I really liked this song, and now my sibling and I have been listening to each episode together and freaking out each time we catch an event that matches up to a frame in this animatic. Its just vague enougu that we didn't really get spoilers- We just finished ep 189 a few minutes ago and sat down together to watch the animatic all the way through again. I love your art so so much and the way you draw Jon is literally the only way I can imagine him. I hope you keep thriving and doing well!!!

This is one of the best tma animatics I've ever seen! I love it so much, the lyrics and the plot and the frames of the animatic itself are synched up perfectly!
i haven't seen anybody else point this out but i LOVE how at 2:14 you have basira and "ashes ashes dust to dust" (mechanisms reference...) also i LOVE the facial expressions you do!!!!!! this is so good
DAMN this really brought home the painful fact we only have one episode left, all the details are amazing and beautiful! The hand holding and hugs, Martin's Lonely moments, the smiles, the impromptu naptime at Upton House, Jon's wicked grins as he smites Not-Sasha and Helen, the hand hold as they look on the Panopticon!

I've never listened to TMA, but I'm a huge fan of The Crane Wives, and this animatic has forever shaped how I view Curses. Whenever it gets to 'Ashes ashes, dust to dust', I think of your walking animation.
I finished TMA around last week, and this is one of my favorite animatics!! I love the way you draw every character and all the interactions between Jon and Martin! The lyric “the devil’s after both of us” as it shows Basira over Daisy just huurrts😭 I cried during that part in the ep and during this. Amazing animatic!!

So all of this has almost made mw cry because it's so perfect and the kinda cheery melody is in contrast to the actual plot and the part where it's like 'tell me I am good enough' while it's basically looking down on Martin has so much interpretable stuff which I am too tired for but just know you have made my 12am brain explode thanks. I have been watching this religiously ever since I first saw it, the art style is beautiful and looks so soft but can still be taken seriously, the animation synchs with the music really well, the depictions and imagery are beautiful both from an artist standpoint and also by a fan getting to see another fans interpretation of the characters and setting, and I just gotta say the way you draw John and Martin's faces just really hits that nostalgia for the series and reminds me why I like the characters in the first place. Thank you for making this.

I've recently finished Mag 200. Let me say. This, in it's entirety, is probably the single beat piece of fan media I've seen on any platform. There is so much. The art style is pleasing on its own, but it only helps to enhance the creativity of the execution of the ideas in this video. The expressions, you really feel what Jon and Martin (And Basira, for a moment) are feeling. You're with them, it's locked in. This was adorable, intense, and an absolute pleasure to watch.
