This so great. Was def considering the 7.62 mini for my 5.56 guns. I have the 5.56 RC2 but wanted an FDE version. Def reconsidering in favor of RC2 5.56 mini or SBR models. Thx dude!
Superlative arms in bleed off is great. Right now have on 308 12.5 pistol, with 762 mini suppressor. Was not reliable with suppressor until I changed gas block now it works flawless.
I am really anxious to see data on the SCI SIX with the vented Helios end cap because of its outer annular venting.Curious to see how similar it would act to the torch.
I mainly run them in the bleed off setting while shooting suppressed so I can’t speak to leaking in the restricted mode. I also only run the set screw versions but depending on the source of the leaking your are experiencing that version might work better or I’ve heard of people using high temp thread locker on the inner diameter to seal against the barrel better but not specifically with SA blocks. I can say that their piston in bleed off works very well on my crane spec 10.3 556 using my hub converted M4-2000, no gas to the face.
Also check out the adjustable gas blocks from Aero, haven’t seen mine leak yet and plenty of fine adjustments if you aren’t wanting the bleed off function of the Superlative Arms blocks.
I would like to see something like the polonium but in a long configuration or a jolene or nomad L with a 6mm bore.. or even a something like the ocm5/aem5 that a 6mm bullet would fit down...would be pretty cool on a bolt action.... seems like alot of guys are running some type of 6mm or 22arc/22 creedmoor bolt gun.... 🎉
@@BigNorm4Life they can certainly be highly reliable. I think it really depends on the system. Often times they are louder, but, certain characteristics of the systems can allow them to operate for very extreme firing schedules.
So much of the gas comes back down the bore. There's really not a problem with AR15 reliability with today's magazines, parts and build quality and the wide availability of quality ammunition. You do you, but don't feel like you have to have a piston gun with a can.
@@TheJaySituation what can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment. Seriously though, thanks. I knew what I was getting into with the 7.62mini so I won't be surprised by the results. 14.5" data forthcoming?

@@Kenposhinobi that is a very good question. We have not performed that testing.
I've been playing with the Aero Adjustable on (2) 10.3" 'mk18' guns, definitely quieter to the shooter.
@@shooterssupplyfaync3913 a few people have recommended that one!
Superlative Arms adjustable gas block, you can retard the gas or bleed it off. Easier to clean and has fine adjustments.
@@juanthelawnmowerthief1641 yes sir! We have used that gas block extensively. We find it leaks in restricted mode. Have you found that as well?

Going with something different than my usual comment.
Thoughts on BPC157 and TB-500?
lol I see what you did there. Also, I just googled those and I had no idea what they were. I would have to research them!
I got a question… Are AR-18s (HK 416s, LWRC’s, FN Scars) overall superior to AR-15s when it comes to gas and reliability in regards to suppression?

@@quiettime6871 correct. The firing schedules where differences in reliability are noticed are very extreme, in most cases.
