When I visited Rome a few years back, we had made it a point to catch a European football match while we were over there, and ended up watching Roma take on Atletico Madrid in the Champions league. This anthem coming on and the entire stadium singing it together with flags and scarves out remains, to this day, one of the most profound sporting/cultural experiences of my life. Found myself thinking about it just the other day. Forza Roma! Much love to a magnificent city with incredible people.
