Yeah it had to be honda that comes out with a turbo car that responds very little to none on mods side of things, use to be any car or truck that was turbo would get like 12+ hp just by replacing the stock filter with either cone style or k&n oil charged filter 🙁 know unless you drastically change something is only way to wake this motor up, what size turbo you upgrade with ?
Fun fact: these things are stupid easy to mod. Why you might ask? Because it's basically 95% of a K20C1, the exact engine in a Civic Type R... Sooooo your claims are baseless

Smh, i can turbo a golf cart and be fast !!! Smh

@@Invincible6990 I got caught up in a bad rainstorm/squall line early March (night of this video) and the car hydroplaned. Unfortunately it was totalled. I got a new Accord a couple weeks ago, but still breaking it in before starting over

No sir, all stock. The trans has been tested and will start to slip around 415ft lbs, but since I was one all OEM fuel system it maybe made 370-380ish. A full bolt on stock turbo makes 365ish and lower in the RPM but a ton of guys have been making that power for 50-100k miles. Seems they finally got it right on the 10speed thank god
It's the MHI Stg2 type r turbo. Accords run out of fuel way before the turbo limit, but also means you aren't stressing it like a stock turbo or OEM type r turbo

So if I was to tune my car would it make it run better to where it wouldn’t cut fuel off when really getting on it ? What would you recommend me do to my car to get a little more performance out of it but still be good as my daily driver
@@coreyhannigan3979 you could get a ktuner and run their stage 1 or stage 2 map, it will smooth out the torque band and increase power. You basically buy the unit and the tune is free. But i think it only works with windows just fyi

Running good man. Mine is on the 2nd revision but still on baby boost. The car drives really good with this turbo and there's plenty of power up top.
How much did this cost you to install everything?
I did all the wrenching myself. Parts is somewhere around $4-5k all in probably.

They were Indy 500s, if you look at my other videos at the track most were with those.

Have you thought about doing boost by gear? Do you have any traction mods like the 6MT engine mount?
Yeah this was a first test based on the tuners boost by gear. Unfortunately I can't keep testing. The car was totalled later that day
