I wish the sounds were louder in the game relative to the other sounds. Sometimes I feel like I can barely hear my horn doots over the noise of the fight. Some of these songs are soooooo good, they deserve to be heard more

If you play on switch, change your tv audio settings. In handheld the audio is slighly better but best with headphones. You'll find you can hear them better with setting tweeks.

I like to think that the individual parts of the maps are the themes in world natives came up for those specific monsters and the map themes themselves is just a combination of all of those.

Its a shame that the melodies are all so short and there is no melody for when you do the spin or how in world depending on which song saved in your list your starting with you would get an altered melody with the first in the list being the og melody, the 2nd being slightly altered and the 3rd being very very altered most of the time
Don’t get why you would nerf Hunting Horn so hard that you would have only one sound play with standard attacks, but also have 2/3 of the horns just play the first 1 or 2 notes of the performance song. It seems really cheap…
Seregios HH doesn't sound as good as when it was in 4U. Wish they had kept the same style of music/sound it made but then turned that into the seregios theme instead of just creating a brand new sound that is nothing like the original. I think this might apply to a few HH of monster from past games.
I really dislike the design of the world monster hunting horns... I get the whole realism thing but couldn't they think of better designs than, bones, feathers and skin on sticks?
I actually like these slapped on designs but only as a progression system. I'm fine with the earlier Pukei weapons just being iron pipes with some feathers/scales/whatever on them. I wish these slapped on design would lead to a truely unique and original weapon model at the end as final weapon upgrade...
Rise and sunbreak are making the horns volumes so low compared to ice borne. I think the overall musical effects are not as outstanding as that in ice borne.
The astalos horn is crazy. Shagaru captures the essence of the monster. Furious rajang just sounds insane. espinas and lunagaron are insane just for their songs

There's a mod out there that lets you layer any weapon! Provided you're on pc

Espinas wins hands down. Lunagron (ice wolf, sorry i butchered the name) is a almost close second.
