Learned what? The book is unread. How many different interpretations are there? And none of them can prove their interpretation in a court of law, beyond the shadow of a doubt. What do you call that? Misleading and, in some cases, deceiving the flock, false prophets, false teachers, and false preachers.
Learn to read the book for yourself. I have read it like a book 7 to 8 times and can prove my understanding in a court of law. The problem is that we're living in the last days, like in the days of Noah, too many fakers and deceivers, the world not being of God. That's why the book is unread to the world!

Amen! I had FIVE bad discs in my lower back (fixed by my chiropractor's decompression table) and two arthritic hips that the surgeon said were the worst he had ever seen ... First surgery was July 2022, second, November 2022 ... LOTS of rehab, but I am walking again as of 16 May 2023, with just two more PT sessions to go! Glory to God, for sure.

Yes he is excellent and down to earth teacher, even my grandchildren can follow along and understand his teachings. I also watch John Kostik on TH-cam, he teaches similar but explains what it means in the Hebrew language. So I also get free Hebrew language lessons at the same time.

They dont read it because they dont consider Daniel a prophet at all.
Besides, none of the prophetsin their religion are higher than the Talmud sages. The Talmud is thier true holy book, not the Torah of Moses or the Tanakh . The sages are considered the real interpreters of the prophets. In that religion, the prophets are considered mere messengers. Its the Talmudic sages that are "tasked" with interpreting the prophetic message, ,according to rabbinic logic. There is more to this religion than meets the eye, and for the most part Christians are sold feel good propaganda, not the real facts.
And also the rabbis discourage the reading of Daniel, especially the most important prophecy in the bible that relates to the timing of Messiahs comingin chapter 9 It is a very simple calculation which proves Jesus was the one who was prophesied to come exactly on time. Because the leaders did not like Jesus, and were disapointed because He did not bring about thier expected ideas of the kingdom of God, that is, a physical one, with themselves being the rulers of the world , they rejected HIM. Ironically, the Christian zionist movement preaches the same kind of kingdom coming , that the pharisees expected of Christ, and that is where I part the ways with both Christian zionism and dispensational doctrines.

We can't go wrong if we have truly repented and are following Jesus Christ's righteous teaching accurately. That predisposition tells our Deity that we are fit to take advantage of a new life in a new heavens and a new Earth. It's sad, but no one can escape Wormwood, already being reported as a rogue planet in our gravitational skies...and already causing great tribulations. In fact, this same encounter could explain the many turbulent events written about in Revelation. Best to do exactly what Jesus told the Seven Churches in Asia to do when we see the signs of Wormwood coming ever closer to Planet Earth...return to his original teaching, declared to us before his crucifixion.

Palm Sunday was Nisan 10 - the exact day the lamb is to be brought into the home in Exodus 12 and slaughtered 4 days later. Jesus was the lamb of God to be slain for the sins of the world.

Pastor Barnard, you are truly up there in the pantheon of Biblical teachings. Most of the Jews still refuse to accept Christ as the Savior. They are too absorbed in rituals, sacrifices, etc. At the half-way '70 weeks', the Anti-Christ comes to the Third Temple. Israel will be 2/3 conquered, men killed, women raped, cities looted while 1/3 flee to the hills of Jordan as God promised to Abraham's seed. Israel will be invaded by the 10-nation 'Islamic Army' led by Turkey (kicked out from NATO by then) with their military commander Russia (Magog) and help from China (Angolmois- yellow race). The Muslims want to seize Jerusalem to be its holy capital city as they know Mecca, Medina, Jeddah, etc. will be 'nuked' as told in their Quran. Quran also says the Muslim Army with black flags will be helped by our 'brothers' who worship in 'onion-shaped' domes of their churches (i.e. Russian Orthodox). Russia who is bankrupt then because of the lost war in Ukraine, will come to steal the spoils, wealth, technology and gas fields in Israel. The European Army ( final resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire) and not the US, will join the war to help Israel but these two armies of 200 million who gather at Megiddo will fight God and Jesus. The heavens open like a scroll and these 2 armies think that an alien force is attacking ! God destroys all of them except 1/6 to serve as witness. Israel takes 7 months to bury the dead east of the Red Sea ( downhill) and 7 years to use the defeated nuclear weapons as energy supply !

The Revelation has not one thing to do with happenings on this very material earth! And it is not a roadmap to the future on this material earth. It is written to the true church and to kings and priests and not unto the secular modern worldly carnal church. And it is written in highly figurative language containing signs and symbols that point to spiritual realities. These can be understood only by the spirits of wisdom and revelations and not by the carnal mind of human understanding....in other words it is not literal and taken that was will lead to error and confusion. It must be really, really difficult for the religious mind to grasp the fact that no prophecy or prediction based on a literal interpretation has come to pass and none will....and there have been hundreds if not thousands. That should be a big clue...but no, they just keep abusing that wonderful Book that stands alone and is not a parallel or sequel to any other book including Daniel which was written to Israel....while the Revelation was written to the true church....big, big difference. I can’t get my head around why you don’t believe in healing today (as a cessationist, maybe). The great commission is practised partly by you as you preach and teach making disciples but it includes healing, and I know that you wholeheartedly believe that the Bible is the absolute Word of God. Please, help me to understand why such a great teacher as yourself would believe that healing has stopped because Paul the apostle left someone behind who was unwell and he had not healed them? Once the Daniel 9:27 covenant is confirmed it will take the Jews 220 days to build the temple (Daniel 8:13-14). 220 + 2300 = 2520. It will open on a Passover. If you use a date calculator and subtract 220 days you will find in some years you land on Rosh Hashanah the following year (on our calendar).
The covenant was confiremed by Christ 2000 years ago. Dispensationalism is a lie. Its Christ who broke the old Covenant and instituted the New Covenant. There's nothing that says the temple is built and operating other than in the middle of the covenant period, it's there operating. I suspect it's the covenant that allows it, built after the start of that.

@@BertGraef no. Jesus did not say otherwise. Jesus was describing the utter destruction of Jerusalem by Rome which would take place in 70AD. Jesus also went on to describe end times. The abomination which causes desolation will be when the Antichrist enters the new temple and blasphemes within it, setting himself up as God. In addition, you're going to have to deny Daniel, Ezekiel, Revelations, etc...

I have a question: What "sacrifice" is Daniel talking about if he predicts the stopping of the "sacrifice and the oblation" in Dan.9:27? if he means the sacrificial system of priestly offerings like they were done in the Temple before the year 70.A.D., then wherein exactly lies the "abomination" in Gods eye? Wasn't the sacrificial Temple system supposed to stop after Jesus died on the cross? Isn't the sacrificial system in itself an abomination after Jesus made these Temple sacrifices obsolete?? Why does God speak of an "abomination" when future Temple sacrifices are being put to a stop??

@@BertGraef I don't believe Revelation is past history but Daniel must have had something in mind we don't fully realize the significance of when we talk about the "abomination". For christians at least it must be obvious that something else is meant instead of what went on in the jewish Temple.
@@petervan333 The abomination Daniel talked about is the Roman army surrounding Jerusalem during the 66AD Passover. The rebellous city was doomed. The Jewish beleivers in Jesus fled the city when they seen this army, as Christ had forewarned them. To get out of the city quickly, for it was going to get sealed up and destroyed. While many Jews from all over were entering the city to celebrate the Passover , the Christians were fleeing. A more subtle method of entrapment for the nation could not have been humanly devised. It shows the divine mind at work.
When the city finally fell to Rome 3.5 years later , over 1,100,000 had perished. Not one beleiver was found in the city. Josephus, The Jewish war.
