It really matters where you are at , I fish two lakes that are actually connected by a pipeline. Colors that work in one , won’t get looked at in the other, same with sizes and body styles . Both are good crappie lakes .. one is stained to muddy the other is usually slightly stained to gin clear .
Good reply, thanks for the comments and knowledge. Having a variety of baits and colours sure does pay off.
Another great video!
Glad you like them!
Great lesson what color for the summer time or warm weather
Depends on where you fish, water clarity, but use what works for you, whatever gives you confidence.
Awwwww I can't wait
Like your videos
Appreciate your watching
Great Video!
Glad you enjoyed it Norman.
What jug head and size do you recommend?
depends on depth we are fishing and size of bait; usually its a 1/16th oz on hair jigs and 1/8- 5/32 oz for soft plastics
@@ExtremeAnglerTV thank you. Great video, keep up the good work!
Colors colors and colors love it
Thanks Raymond, love the colors for crappie!
The crappie magnet is one of the most versatile lures ive ever used. Its my go to for crappies, stream trout, stream trout in lakes, perch, walleyes during mayfly hatches. Almost always using a bronze painted tungsten head with the bison coloring which is gold belly/black top. Justa great generic buggy pattern but can also pass for small creek chub imitation.
They sure caught a lot of crappie for us.
Awesome love this
Thank you! Cheers!
Crappie magnet has some good products. Love using them.
Highly underrated. It's my favorite smallmouth lure and my favorite trout lures as well. In green on a tungsten jig they catch walleye and perch like crazy as well just a great generic pattern that flat out imitates many things and catches fish
Nice!!! 👍 🎣 🇺🇸
What store carry alls your crappy lure or crappies marment
Sam, our on-line store is opening soon thx for asking.
I think I’m a crappie Hoarder to. I just love crappie baits.
Yup, us too!
I'm the same way. Got more than I'll ever use.
do you use the Slab Curly or Tiny Dancer?
we use both and have videos of them in action!
Once again another good video Karl👍🏾
Glad you enjoyed it Victor.
@@ExtremeAnglerTV right on👍🏾
Nice Video!! I really enjoyed your videos . Do you ever use crappie nibbles? I never see you use them.
We do use them a lot, more this spring as well in new videos. Thanks for watching
Great vid, very informative!
Glad it was helpful!
Saludos.
How can I get one of your shirts in an orange short sleeve and in a 4xlt?
Our on-line store opens in March, thanks for asking.
I too am a crappieholic
Yes, Steve, we both are!
Just use live minnows. Best crappie bait hands down.
We do mostly in the U.S. but we love the challenge of using artificial baits as well.
I know I had a problem when my first thought in the bait aisle was do I have enough money in the wallet to get every single color.
It's a crappie thing.
We know that feeling, but love buying baits too!
Another great informative video Karl. I can see another million different color baits in my future lol. I do have a question, what are your thoughts on using scents? Do you think it is needed?
Yes and yes thanks Darin, we use scent a lot in cool water and when they don't wanna bite
@@ExtremeAnglerTV thank you
@@ExtremeAnglerTV what kind of scents would you recommend that would me more efficient for crappie would bite the most. thanks for any advice or info
@@sandyso5527 we like the heavy garlic scent that makes em hang on tight.' Bang' makes really good stuff.
I’ve had great results on plain chartreuse crappie magnet 🧲. Crazy how that bait lives up to its name. Love them. The Mardi Gras color is a great color as well.
Good stuff
