I have some fond memories of our old excursion. However, I didn't have to pay for the gas.

Looks awesome man! You’re just missing a giant piece of leather with a bead hanging off the back instead trailer hitch balls! 😂jk. For your storage you should look into some “Milwaukee packout” stuff. They make a mounting plate and the pack outs just clip into place! They even make coolers and drawers! Etc.

I towed the trailer for 3-4 days before leaving.
What happened to front bumper it doesn't look aligned properly on the passenger side ?

That's a badass rig and setup with the trailer.
You could probably add on to your roof rack, make another cross bar to spread more weight out. Also add a few braces to transfer some weight down into the pillars.
Some Fab Four bumpers or similar with a winch would look great on it.
Do an 05-07 axel swap and lifts will be easier to find. Plus you'll get a coil spring front end with better turning radius.
Did you have to run a spacer on those wheels? Whats the offset?
Exactly the build I want to do. I was going to do it with my E150 but there was too much rust to justify spending the money on a 4x4 conversion and the the rack etc.
Just saw your video while scrolling through TH-cam, love what you've done with it in two weeks. Ive got the exact same color and have been building mine slowly over the last year while daily driving it. Definitely interested to see what you do with it

I told my wife I'm a kid away from trading my truck in for am excursion lol. I'd be okay with trading a newer F-150 for an older Diesel lol
Be careful. Pulling a trailer out of cold storage for a long trip is risky! Make sure you throw some grease in those bearings! Check for dry rot! Especially the valve stems! How many times have you seen a trailer with one of the tires incinerated on the side of the road!

Got a jackery 300 same issue wanted anker but the input and would have had to get the much more exspensive anker that has the input .... I was like oh cool 60 watt usb c on the jackery 🤨😑 its disappointing honestly the "60" watt port that is
On the bright side the trailer sits way lower that the roofline of the 'OX' so you'll save some drag on whatever terrible fuel economy its getting anyway 😂 I honestly would feel overwhelmed with that much storage space. I packed my Outback full for a two week trip to all five great lakes and then Maine and I felt so accomplished when I figured out my packing system haha.

If you go through corinth mississippi, eat at the kfc there. Dining room is open 11:00-8:00.

Incase you need to shower so you don't have to rent a hotel, you can stop at any truck stop, like Pilot Travel Center and love's Travel Stop, they have private showers which cost about 15 bucks.
Couldn't find any info on the tactile meet up. Hope I don't miss out. Maybe I'll run I to Saturday at BladeShowTX.
Your Excursion looks great. Excellent job lifting, and putting decent size tires on it. I'm so glad you put good looking wheels on it. There are so many ugly wheels out there like what were on it when you bought it.
I have a 2002 7.3L Limited so I have a full appreciation of owning one. 👏

Hey Taylor! Sad to see how the road trip had some bumps but I’m digging the Excursion. The AT4 was sweet but it’s turn-key and I’ve never been one for turn-key builds. Glad you were able to make it yours. Also side note that DA tent is an amazing piece. Look forward to seeing some videos on your future adventures in this thing.

Static weight limits versus dynamic. If you’re sitting still, the limit is closer to 600-700lbs
Uhhhh if you're at max capacity with the tent and platform, you're going to have a hard time using the tent...
