Yay! This is one of my favourite stamp sets and what a beautiful card you've made with it! The slanted recess makes it stunning. Also loved seeing your vintage roses card again. On the video it looks even more beautiful.

I saved this video for months wanting to recreate it. It's a beautiful card. I'm trying to use the yellows that you did. If I'm understanding the video correctly I only hear you mention two of the yellow colors even though there are three layers of yellow. I hear Buttercream and Caramel Toffee

NEAT idea, but how did you finish the inside?
Thank you Debrah, I didn't do anything with the inside of this one, as I have kept it, but I usually put a folded piece of coloured paper into the inside, that is just a little smaller than the card size.

Helen, I just had a go at making this card and I loved it. I have ordered my Alternew Roses and Pansies stamps, dies and inks and DHL says they'll be here any day. I can't wait to learn layering. A question re the size of the card. Is there any particular reason you chose 5 x 7?
Thank you Dianne, our cards in NZ to buy in NZ are bigger than the usual size in USA, and they look very small to us, so I compromised and did a slightly bigger one than their A2 size, but still not as big as the ones here to buy which usually take double postage, the size I make only take one stamp.
Ahhhh! I think it looks lovely in this size and that’s certainly the size i’ll use for this technique. My Altenew stamps have arrived along with the co-ordinating inks. I’m ready to try. Yeah,

My first attempt at using the stamp set wasn’t very successful and then I remembered something about “seasoning” new stamps. The Altenew site was great with information about how to do this so now i’m getting better ink transfer and i’m ready to try again. Love the learning.

The music is royalty free from a site called 'Incompetech' the link to download it is incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/index.html?isrc=USUAN1100626 or in the description below the video, it is very relaxing music, I never know whether to use this type or something more upbeat, I wouldn't want anyone falling asleep LOL.
