The man, Late Evangelist Sunny Okosun was not just a music legend but an enigma, a kingdom ambassador whose rich strands of musical milieu has impacted lives through his circular and gospel songs. He was one man whose songs actually inspired me tremendously while growing up as a child. And back then, I would always hang around wherever his songs were been played while on errands. Music, they say, "is the food of the soul", and no doubt, my soul has greatly been fed by his music, and is continually being fed, with my spirit man also continually being revived by his anointed songs of praise and worship. All his songs are evergreen, with his gospel songs emitting anointing through the airwaves. He was one man with fire in his bones! And though he is no more, the fire keeps burning through his songs and anything that represents him, so much that I felt an overwhelming aura the day I drove through the front of his family house in his home town at Ibore, Irrua, in Esan Central, Edo State. Late Evang. Sunny Okosun was so charismatically gifted that the soul of man has no resistance to offer when it comes to his music, and he left a mark for both the world and generations yet unborn to know that he once existed. He is one man that needs to be immortalized, both by the government and the Christian community. He was a great revivalist and a remarkable epitome of a true evangelist. May his soul continue to rest in perfect peace. Amen! Rev. Prof. Goodwill Walter -Ph.D (C.inst.T). Founder/President, Macedonia Bible College, Benin City. Edo State, Nigeria.
This is so sad. These selfish politicians who call themselves leaders without any atom of leadership quality> They are alienated from the people who they superintend and only care for their families and cronies. We enjoyed Sony Okosun songs and his legacies still live today.
Great job ,it’s really over due,to hear from those that truely knew the legend. It was quite a nice interview & there is more to hear of this legend. Thanks & the legend continues.
God bless you Sir for your good works towards bringing the wonderful memories of Nigerian heroes past.

It’s so sad he died too young. After his death, I stopped listening to his song because I become emotional sometimes when I hear him…
