A few of my favorite musical moments live were a few feet from the stage as he ssweated out each song with passion few musicians carry to the stage. Thank you DEE for over 25 years of you.
I still remember the first time i heard 16 Horsepowers Low estate - the latest album at the time. After 10 secunds of "Brimstone rock" i knew my life had changed. Here i am several albums and 14 concerts later still absolutely amazed by this guy.
the one and only! inspires me every time. And yes, David finally found a director, a video maker, who can show what DEE is doing, delicately emphasize it. his name is Loic Zimmermann

Amazing song, glimpses of brilliance we got on Star Treatment, Risha, Riverwood and the last tour continue.. the new album is going to be so overwhelmingly good. Absolute badass, brilliant musician, songwriter, singer and a very smart man. 🙌 🌿 🖤
yeahh! it announces a very good album if the rest is of the same level! I saw him in Annecy (France) last April, I think I will see him again for a new solo tour on October 2nd in Geneva! Thank you David may God protect and bless you and yours! 😉

David Eugene Edwards is a revelation and the ultimate inspiration! Discovered his sound just about 2 years ago, once a friend had sent me a 16 hp live performance.... such an instantly obvious greatness! Thank You Mr David Eugene Edwards
Good to see, that David is returning to his folk songwriting as a solo. Not liking last woven hand releases all that much actually, beginning with the laughing stalk. Wish he would return to consider the birds, mosaic days....
You can't possibly be serious. What is he going to do? He will continue making art that saves countless lives and souls, as he did my own. DEE being the sole reason I came back to Christ After years estranged. He will continue being a healer, while the clown covered in 100 coats of orange paint does nothing for souls or salvation, healing none, but dividing all. Step away from the Q insanity my dear. Find God through the source. Be not deceived by false prophets.
i agree with some of the other commentors.. from the first note to today , the pictures he and his bandmates have painted have spoken to me. Isaiah chapter 35 has come to mind. For me it was Burning Bush from the then-latest album Secret South. Life changed, indeed.
16 Horsepower and early Wovenhand is still the best DEE work.
The return of a clear voice without effect is really welcome. This piece is magnificent. Can't wait to discover the rest of the album.
It baffles me how everything this man records hits me straight to the heart.

When I first listened to this artist the first time I liked it but didn't know what to make of it. This is really growing on me.
