Mr. Borlai is officially my second favorite drummer in the world. This guy makes it fun when he rips my face off with sheer power and technique. You watch his face, he's always counting as well....you can see the wheels turning. Absolutely full-on great work. I'm inclined to agree with Laderrick.

És azt kell mondjam, hogy a tudása, és a zenéhez való affinitása kimagasló a magyar zenésztársadalomhoz képest. Ennyi év alatt szerzett tudást még lehet fokozni. Csak elismerni tudom. Számomra Ő a legjobb magyar zenész. Csak így tovább!!!!
It's really nice 2 see some cool comments was almost the same feel I got when Tony Royster JR took Drums a board but never the less. Drumming is a fun Art from all different angles?. Guess the drums were always a Iconic instrument that people love 2 master?. There is no limit 2 Drumming theses days, Senri Kawaguchi has come a long way as well, but I see what people mean?. With drums are very much fun?.
I didnt even hear about Drumcraft until about a year ago, but i am super impressed by them so far. I can't they they are the BEST on youtube, but they are definitely incredible drums.
There are a few top drummers who would be seriously be impressed with this guy not just for he's amazing chops...its hes drum volcabulary and he's creativity that is just stunning!. i mean u can have great chops and stuff but hes got really cool ideas with it..:o)

by seying that this is the best sounding kit on You Tube , I dont mean that DRUMCRAFT as a brand is the the best , but this exact kit of Gergo Borlai is ! the kit on his own , the heads , tuning , drums solo , sound of his Meinl Byzance cymbals , recording and ofcourse the brilliant drumer , made this exact kit the best sounding drum kit on You Tube for me ! he is playing now Paiste cymbals , but I really mis the sound of his Meinl Byzance cymbals on the new videos.
This cat is a beast! I like his style.Plays odd time signatures with the best of them. And FUNKYYYYY! It's one thing to be able to play odd time signatures but it's another thing all together when you can make them sound musical and not mechanical. Thomas Lang, Marco, Steve Smith, Cobham,and JoJo Mayer are all near the top of the 'Food Chain' but are too mechanical. This cat has counting, independance, dexterity, finesse, touch and power like the 'Fab Five', Dave, Dennis,Vinnie, Chris, and Tony.
there is an old documentrary (in hungarian) about him, where he says something like this "[...]you know, last night I saw on a music chanel a metal band called Nile or how do you pronounce that [...] that was unbelievable, those drums 4-5 minutes long just going so fast...[...]" well that was the blast beat, which he is also mastering on his own way!!!!!
Egyébként egy riportfilmben azt mondta Gergő, hogy a külföldi, a "nagy zenészek" (már nemtudom hogy fejezte ki magát, de remélem megérted mit akarok :)) tudnak valami olyat amit ő nem. Lehet benne valami. de ez már régebbi riport volt.
I ALLREADY DID ! his SONOR sounds also great ( I personally dont like his snare sound , 12 " snare as a main snare ) . this Drum Craft 8 - maple is mutch cheaper than Gavins Sonor SQ , but sounds really great !
Természetesen nem én vagyok Gergő, és nem is ezt akarom elhitetni. A név spontán jött, ugyanis elég sok videót néztem meg tőle. És nála a fejlődés mindig látványos. Eljutott már arra a szintre, hogy az apró részletekre is odafigyel. Mint ahogy ő is nyilatkozott, a dinamikára próbálja meg a hangsúlyt fektetni. Ez a szólója tökéletesen tükrözi ezt a törekvését. A legtöbb dobos ennyi energiát nem fektet a tudásába. Vagyis nem rosszabbak, csak nem ennyire elhivatottak.
I agree w/ you 100%. In the highest echelon of drummers on the planet! This guy is scary good----I'm not a fan of Pridgen at all, this dude smokes him,and WAY more interesting to listen to.
Csak nem te vagy az ő Egoja? :D a neved alapján nagyon úgy tűnik :D A viccet félretéve szerintem is röhejes, hogy ennyire ismeretlen a nagyközönség számára, de nem ő az első magyar aki méltó lenne a világ hírnévre és nem kapja meg. De ő még fiatal, szóval kitudja mit hoz a jövő.

Monster drummer. Only my opinion of course, but I liked the sound of the Meinls on his kit better than the current Paistes.
