QGIS Profile from Lines - Raster Tool from SAGA

This short video is a little introduction into a raster tool accessed via QGIS that shows creating profiles from lines with a SRTM geotiff (elevation). A line is turned into a set of nodes (at each vertex) and attributed with the x,y and z (elevation) of the underlying raster cell.
There is a great deal more about these raster tools and certainly a lot more about SAGA tools in general and I will cover additional tools/functionality in later videos.
