Not a big fan. I dont use it actually. Every pocket is not seamed so each is wide open and stuff will fall through/get stuck at the bottom(precision drivers, bits etc). I set it up to hold some plumbing gear so it got wet and now smells. The stitching came apart before I had it a year. The tape strap ripped
It's in the title "apartment maintenance" .... Maintenance techs aren't always made of money. These are more affordable options for those on a tighter budget.
@@maintenanceessentials3953 I'm not made of money either bro but buy one thing at a time once every week or two like I do and it will make your job easier. That's all I'm saying. Make it easier on yourself
Honestly, I'm not that worried about it. How's that saying go... "It's not the tool that makes the Tradesman." I have tools by Wera, Wiha, Gedore, Klein, Ideal... all of those brands you mention. But in an effort to provide insight to more readily available and affordable tools and because I don't mind using them I also have Crescent, Channellock, Southwire, Irwin, Commercial Electric, Milwaukee and DeWalt Hand tools, Woods, Gardener Bender...the list goes on. Some guys are just starting out. Some guys need tools now and not every two weeks. Some don't care what name is on the handle. I appreciate your input and can agree with your belief 100%. But I like to look at both sides of the coin if that makes sense.
I know I’m a year late but the word “budget” is in the title. Some guys starting out could really benefit from this. Eventually they can go higher quality is the finances and need dictates.
It's funny because I've got a seriously bit addiction too, I bet you I have over a 500 bits, everyone laughs at me, but I'm the first they ask for when they need one
I disagree. Most places sell Channel Lock brand tools at a premium similar to but not as high as Klein. Commercial Electric is about half the cost of both of these brands but you're not getting garbage. CE tools are solid.
That outlet/GFI tester I'm sure works fine. It will only trip the breaker if that circuit is on a GFI breaker.. It will also trip a GFI device by itself or it will trip a GFI device from any outlet hooked downstream from it..
It's completely inconsistent. I have used it to throw the breaker on a non GFI circuit/GFI breaker several times as well as had it not trip a GFI protected circuit while plugged into the actual GFI device. It works great as a tester but it's not a reliable tracer in my opinion
Cool setup!
Thank you!!
How do you like the cresent bag? I wanna buy the back pack

More like thousands of bits😂🤣
Commercial Electric is affordable at the cost of Klein quality, if you want affordable and quality go Channel-lock.
