@@johnallen4127 brady has a tainted legacy? really? because of "deflate gate"? when the steelers got "busted" for the same thing why didnt the NFL punish them? because they knew it was B.S...and that game was like 34-10...then they went on to beat the "greatest defense since the 85' bears".....and won...Brady is the G.O.A.T...without all the big talking garbage on other teams...when Brady had 4 i would say Joe was number 1...but after the super bowl against the Falcons. there is NO doubt now. And he is still better than half the Q.B's in the league..playing with different personnel AND in harsh new england weather..ALL respect due to the 49'ers of that era because they did it with class and for the most part were very similar in their approach..no b.s no trash talk etc...

I was 17 when I saw this in my room with tears in my eyes watching joe win superbowls in the 1980s with my dad and uncles and cousins many of which are no longer with us today, playing this back my eyes are again watery but for different reason, in 2015 I stopped watching the nfl completely it became so polarizing and political that it was no longer entertainment, then I learned that the nfl is rigged and scripted and none of my childhood heroes were real. the refs determine every single game with mind numbing bad calls , flags at the worst timing etc. in a fantacy world we can believe that the refs simply dont have a clue and go on with our life's, but in these "woke" times of incredible revelations it would be silly for us to think these refs are clueless, not at all they just answer to a higher power .

After sitting behind Steve DeBerg for a couple seasons, coach Walsh finally put him and with a great draft class and some key signings, the Niners were off and running. He never cheated, his coach never cheated, his teams never cheated, and he never LOST a Superbowl.

Perhaps my brain isn't working too good. I looked up SB history again and 49ers' last SB victory was 1995 or 1994 season. After Eddie's evil sister and her devil husband sadistically took over the 49ers, about 1/4 century past, they won nothing. They are either completely ignorant about football or they just don't care much about the business of the 49ers.

      @thesentinel5523 6 ปีที่แล้ว

Rhoads Matheson I was at that game! The Eagles were killing us that day. And Steve had just been thrashed by their pass rush . George Seifert made the right call but Steve had just come off the loss to Joe and KC and he had just lost it when GS did this.
Steve Young has said that he was saying so much shit to GS to goad him into fighting after that on the sideline out of the years of frustration that he had gone through to become the starter.
But it was the other 49er players seeing this unhinged and defiant side of mild mannered Steve Young that it changed their perception of him. He was no longer just the backup but a leader willing to take all the risks the Eagles had to offer because he wanted to win the game and it got the entire team fired up for that crucial win over Detroit. "It taught me an important lesson: Perception is reality." -Steve Young

Oh, do I have a story to share with you.
I ran.into Joe. Literally ran into him. Where I live is only a 2 hour drive to the coast. There is a little town just south of Monterey, California. It is named Carmel. It is famous because Clint Eastwood was mayor. It is also 2 hours south of San Francisco. One Sunday, I decided to go for a drive. It was a beautiful day and my girlfriend was out of town. And I drive a Porsche. So I was driving along with the sunroof open listening to some tunes and I get to Carmel.
The arch enemy of Posche owners is 1. Ferrari. 2. Corvette. So I didn't am looking for a parking space and I see this one on the other side. In order to get there I had to go around 2 blocks. Carmel has a lot of one way streets. I get there only to find a Ferrari had beat me to it. So I park somewhere else and go walking/shopping. As I come to an intersection this guy runs right into me. What a jackass (I was going to say). It was Joe and Jennifer.
I didn't say anything except it's all right. I didn't want to sound like a groupie. I watched them walk away as they got into the FERRARI!
God has blessed me with some cool meetings.
O.J.Simpson was with Nicole and another gal in San Fransisco. We were all in this expensive ladies boutique that belings to some friends of mine. My wife comes out of the dressing room with this real sexy skirt and top. Simpson was there with a girl in each arm. My wife asks me how the outfit looked. Simpson was staring at her ass and he goes "looks fine from here". Guy is a pig.
I met Muhammad Ali when he was at Harvard Square Theater signing his book The Greatest. I was a freshman at Harvard then. His bodyguards were huge and I mean huge. Like 6'8" or so. Got to shake his hand too. Guy had class. Real class.

I still consider Joe Montana the greatest Quarterback back ever Montana is the GOAT Not Brady. Montana 4 super Bowls in 8 years. Joe "Cool" won every time he has in the Super Bowl. Brady lost some. Montana never threw a single interception in a super bowl. Never fumbled the ball in the super bowls. How many Quarterbacks played in 4 Super Bowls and never threw a single interception in the big game. The end song is true Joe Montana is Simply the best. If they protected Quarterbacks like they do today during Montanas play days. Joe could have played 4 or 5 more years.. Quarterbacks are so over protected by footbwll.

Still The GOAT In my eyes better than any Quarterback ever that includes Tom Brady. Montana never lost a Super Bowl and never threw a single interception in a Super Bowl. Thats amazing. Plus Joe Montana such a humble man.

The GOAT of all time and that is fact according to the United States government. Brady is a cheater who's been stripped of his titles. And you don't lose a Super Bowl to be considered the best. If you don't win every one, then why are you playing? "Remember, it's not worth playing if you can't win!" - Coach Jack Reilly to young Gordon Bombay in The Mighty Ducks.

Joe was the best ever quarterback of all times. I was right that he would be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame on his first ballot. He along with Troy Aikman, John Elway, Dan Marino, Steve Young would also go to Canton, Ohio.

Watching Joe Montana run the West Coast offense was like watching a maestro conduct a symphony-the greatest quarterback ever. If I had to win one game, everything on the line, Number 16 is my guy. Don’t care about anyone else on the team- Montana could beat your team with his, and turn around and beat his team with yours. Simply the best ever, sorry Tom Brady

Julian Bell Should have in ‘90, and then it could’ve happened in ‘91. If he doesn’t get hurt, he may retire a little earlier and hand off his spot to Steve Young to win even more. Niners are the greatest dynasty in NFL history.
