Hey I just found found you can retrofit an original led fog lamp. Not sure if you know! They don’t say it’s for the s80 but has same connector on back and fits in the fog light hole. Just purchased my pair to install it!
How did you changed the dome light to led? I was trying to change mines and it’s a bit complicated as it’s attached to the dome the bulb with an adapter?? The wire from the bulb from factory is wired deep not just a plug and play bulb
Have the same vehicle. About to change plugs, coolant, air filter, cabin air filter, clean up the MAF sensor, put these LEDs in, and possibly a transmission drain n fill. Hows the car treating ya? That v8 is solid.
Which S80 do you have? I'm thinking about getting one and have read that the 3.2 engine doesn't have much horsepower. I know they're excellent cars. What's your opinion?
I have a 2010 v8 'executive' model. I've only owned it for 3 months, but I greatly like it so far. It's fairly quick, sounds good, and handles fairly well. I looked at a 2007 3.2 which was a lot less expensive (and had lower miles), but I never did get to drive it. I fell in love with the v8 model instantly once it started up. These cars weigh almost 4,000 lbs, so I'm sure the 3.2 is going to be much, much slower than the 315hp 4.4 liter v8 versions. Both cars are rated highly though for build quality and safety. It's a LOT of car for the money.
@@Pedal2Metal_on_TH-cam Thanks. You got a Yamaha engine V8! Wow! That's one of the things I'm searching for. Which is why I wanted to know the difference. I bet that engine goes when you need it to. Thanks a lot for your input. I really want the V8 also. It's considered a "Sleeper" car, because it's unsuspecting until you push on that V8.
I have the 2007 white 3.2 it’s pretty quick. Merging on the highway I can outbeat an incoming car. Another thing there was a BMW 550 seemed to be the 2018 model. He was right behind me we were both merging in he stepped on it so did I he couldn’t pass me. Matter fact after driving for a bit I was going to an exit so I slowed down he got on the side of me and was giving me a sign to go for another run! 😂 but I had to exit. Guess that will tell you the answer
I figured out how to turn off the drl thru my dash menu settings. I did not know I could do that; I also set the side mirrors to auto tilt down when the car is placed in reverse.
Very helpful, great difference.
I just redid my fog light lens has some residue on them from age. Looks like new again!
Do the bulbs have proper cut off line. I’m concerned if they blind the opposite lane drivers.
The ones I bought are more like enhanced city lights... they aren't very bright.
Man, the background music made it to where I can't watch this video. Really wanted to
Oops sry

Its still a great car for me. No issues, except the timing leaks oil badly... the dealer wants $2,900 to do that tho. I'll let it drip.

Did it throw any error codes?
No. My interior leds and the rear lic plate leds do show up on vida dice when you log in. But, no error codes per say.
@@Pedal2Metal_on_TH-cam awesome thanks! I'm going to order some for my C70
Hey Royce, what are you going to school for?
Mechatronics
Dude, nice corrado!!!
Thank you! I've owned it for 28 yrs. I'll have videos of it here soon. Thanks for watching!!

@@e55_wagon sweet! I love em in green!

How did you do it through the dash menu?
