Had a great game with GSC last night thanks to you. Absolutely nuked Magnus with a Primus x Demo Hybrid combo, was magnificent. Failed every single Cult Ambush roll though 🥴.
I was considering selling my GSC (not loving 10th, Custodes codex has demoralised me) but this video is getting me excited for 10th and GSC. Thank you internet vampire man.
Note about the Nexos. His ability is once per TURN not per Battleround. This is an important distinction (have a check on other characters) This means you can use A Perfect Ambush on your own TURN for 0cp and on your opponents TURN use Go to Ground for the 6++ and cover (helps our terrible armour saves!) And CP reroll.
I've been playing GSC in 10th and wracking my brain on how to use stuff besides Yolo demo acolytes and dakkaphytes plus abberants. This really helped me get some ideas for all my benchwarmers like the metamorphs, locus, and my various brood brothers. Most people just say "d tier" or uncompetitive but I'm not at a GT so seeing someone finally bake ways to get use to them is really helpful for us casual players who just like using stuff regardless of "the meta". While also pointing out ways not to be blasted should we venture to the big leagues Thanks for your vid much appreciated!
GSC are far from being D tier. While respawning is a bit random, they have everything to score well under various situation and they have the tool to deal with most meta.
New to playing this game, and decided to play this faction in particular because i love the lore and design/looks of the units. This video could not have come out at a more perfect time, thank you!
As a mostly votann player I love the miner aesthetic. I have some tyranids from leviathan so I always planned to eventually branch out into genestealer cults. But with the combat patrol possibly getting worse i made sure to buy a copy! Now I actually have to get genestealers to blend the tyranids and cults together!
Excellent. My IG are almost all put together, and watching your videos has made me realize how extremely easy it will be to add/swap just a couple models and units to make it entirely viable as a GSC army as well. Needless to say I'm going to be doing both because why not? Sometimes my pirates are organized and direct, sometimes they're sneaky. Whatever gets the loot.
Thanks for the effort man! You are the reason I started GSC. Also a Video about small Games (500-1000) would be nice. Its very commonly played in my Club. Greetings from Germany!
Thanks for the video! I really appreciate the time and effort that you put into this video. I especially love the arrows on the cards to highlight and point out different things. I also really enjoy your subtle humor that is sprinkled throughout. Just enough for flavor and style.
I am going to a tournament in a few weeks and rushing to paint everything. Last tournament, my tyranid army had a lot of issues against the current meta of Knights and primarch so I decided to add a Shadowsword in my GSC and I am super happy to see that you include one too in your list. Great video and I love the humour.
Hey, absolutely amazing video! I was initially a bit wary of your content because of the vtuber bit, but that was absolutely prejudice on my part. Youre making exactly the warhammer stuff i want to see and im currently really thinking about building a GSC army.
Truck can take 12 passengers. Load up 10 Acolytes and a Kelermorph. Disembark the Kelermorph first, if the Acolytes get overwatched the Kelermorph can shoot during your movement phase then a second time in his shooting phase.
I sort of like Iconward with metamorphs specifically when you keep them in the rear. It sucks that they're OC1 and you're wasting a scout move (that can still be used to reposition out of LOS after deploy) but they aren't battleline so throwing them at the front line is more risky, they're 10pts cheaper, they have versatile melee without swapping hand flamers for mining tools, and the fight on death suits the role as defence vs out-flankers: you have the full 10 flamers to overwatch vs strategic reserves or anyone entering charge-range, then if the survivors charge OC2 won't help if the unit is wiped anyway so fight-on-death has the potential to prevent the opp from taking your objective by removing enemy OC. If it's deep-striking / walk-on teminators you're effed with metas or acolytes either way unless you want to waste 45pts (+10) on a locus for the chance of killing some with fights-first mining tools. I'm mainly just hoping our codex detachments bring metamorphs some good tech. Even an enhancement that grants Scouts suddenly opens up the possibility of putting a biophagus or primus in the truck with them
Love your content, mate! I love GSC even though they are an underdog faction by design. I was scared to death by the genestealer in Space Crusade back when 2nd ed. wasn't even a thing...
I think what would be interesting for you to cover is the different types of lore . As one cult for example, the rusted claw operates completely completely differently from something like the twisted helix . And a story aspect would be interesting take because not everybody is waiting for the Star god .
Oooooook. I have been watching for a Longg time. First time comments. You are doing the patriarchs work! In your next video tell me when your going live. Cause your awesome.

that could work - the missile dissuades the enemy from going to a place but there is rarely a problem in setting up from deep strike against the targets we want
@@ChristianVonCarmian40kVtuber Appreciate the response. Will keep it in mind for some matchups as I think it's a funny unit to bring out that Genestealers stole a Deathstrike missile and could embrace being 40k Skaven and just bomb an objective while potentially getting Neophytes back.
