Eldad is like superman, I can just envision him, ripping off his normal clothes, and showing his superman costume, as he flies to the rescue of the little dog on the freeway. What a hero you are Eldad, we love you.
🤣 What you wrote reminded me of "the cave rescue" where he ripped his pants (a lot!). He didn't have Superman tights underneith, though. He had boxers with ghosts saying "BOO!" 🤣😅

This poor dog must have been abandoned, given where he was. I can’t understand how anyone could leave their pet in such a situation, right next to a fast road. At least drop him off at a vet or rescue centre. Thank you for rescuing him and giving him the life he deserves.

Thank you for rescuing Norman from the freeway. If a driver had not stopped to help him, he would have died. It is horrifying to think that someone deliberately dumped him where he was found, probably in the cardboard box beside him. To everyone at Hope for Paws, thank you.

@@Patti1 That's exactly what I thought. He probably hit the median and then collapsed next to it. Poor baby. He _will_ find a good home, though, and people who treat him with love and dignity. No one will ever hurt him again.
I'm certain I heard the vet tell Eldad the fracture was old. I can hear Eldad ask "what does that mean the fracture is old" (or similar) and then the voices fade away and the music increases. How awful. So grateful this little fella was safely rescued.
And he's such a sweet boy! What's wrong with people?

I used to live in the general area where this fwy is at. The Freeway Over Head Sign said; Atlantic and Bandi - Exits.
This is around the City of Commerce, Maywood, Bell and Bell Gardens. And the Freeway is; The 5 Freeway, coming out Los Angeles.
That being said; If you'll take a moment, you'll see a Blue/Grey Apartment build... there are also other apartment buildings and houses or (Residential Neighborhood). I personally believe that, from the looks of the dog (he's pretty healthy and decently taken care of), it some how got out of it's home, got through to the Freeway, (Not hard at all, in many area's there's only either chain link and if there's is a sound wall portion, there's always, ways unto the Freeway). Some where in the late evening or possibly, early early morning, he ventured out and unto the Freeway. This Freeway is one the oldest in California and busiest - the 5 Freeway. In doing so, little man probably, 'got clipped' by a car and made it to the median where he stayed.
That being said; Little man escaped death after bein hit and was in shock from the injury, not only that, but... the absolute 'din' of the passing cars, probably was driving him crazy to the point of being numb and giving up.
God Bless you Sir, The Hospital and the passing motorist checking on you. And to little man...

Actually that was my dog I left him in a park at sure how he even got to the highway given the injury. Glad he had found a safe home. It all worked out.

I cried the whole time I watched this little guy being rescued. Thank you to everyone involved with him being saved. I wish I could afford to donate but medication for my little Yorkie is over 200 a month. She has allergies and Cushing disease. Thank you to the hero’s that work every day saving the lives of animals. No matter what kind they are.

His bravest was the rescue of Jordan who was mutilated by an insane monster. I say that rescue was his bravest because he came through for Jordan, and he must have faced his greatest internal demon : to go after the monster who did that to a poor tiny dog and get revenge. God bless Eldad and people like him who look out for the innocent.

So amazing that this dog had an injured hip but allowed himself to be picked up and carried away without biting/snapping. So glad he got the help he needed. Life long blessings to all those that were there to help.
I think the poor baby may have just about given up at that point. But once he realized that someone really cared for him, he started to trust again!

Some years ago when my son live near the freeway a homeless person told us that people do throw their dogs on the freeway hoping that somebody will run them over that devastated me I couldn’t believe what I was hearing

How people can keep driving past this poor dog in such a frightening situation for him is beyond anything I can comprehend. Thankfully he didn’t move. It looked like he had just given up.
