Amazing Aircraft designed by genius Burt Rutan. And Amazing Pilots that take the thing up and down. Glad to see Space Travel moving towards some day becoming as simple as Booking on Expedia or Kayak.
I be glued to the windows too !
drat i missed it [live]
congratulations to all
Why the live coverage end, bummer!
Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic are both amazing--different approaches but fun to see when they carry people into space like the first Mercury launches and the X15 launches. I like both launch vehicles, with a slight nod to Virgin because it can land back on a runway. Both offer amazing views.
I have only felt weightlessness for a second or two, once jumping from the Stratosphere Tower in Vegas and several times on amusement park rides, including a couple of old drop coasters. It is an amazing feeling--cannot imagine what it feels like for more than a minute or two--or almost a year, like in the ISS.
We were all weightless once--before birth, or in water at times, or on swings as kids. I think it is human nature and the nature of all species to yearn for that feeling. I am just glad I've done it on a smaller budget than these passengers, lol, or in airplane turbulence, although I call that unscheduled weightlessness like an unscheduled lane change during an earthquake or in gusty winds in a car, on a horse, or a chariot....
So, spaceX, Blue origins and virgin galactic. Cool. But id prefer the 3 or 4 day journey in orbit. Either ways very great and inbovative ideas. Thumbs up
Very great initiative, the only problem is that its very costly, hope in the future something can be done to help reduce costs
I'm going to start a Go Fund Me page, That should bring the cost down. 😜😜😜😜
I just think of what we are achieving in the world today and where it is leading us.
I often think of what people in the past thought about over loo years ago, and what we can actually do today.
I also dream about what will be happening in 100 years when I am well gone (I'm 65) and the stuff they will create and that we can't even think about or have any idea's about today.
@@JustMeZero988 yeah, I also wonder how things are gonna be about 100 or 200 years from now and I wish those in the past who started this space and aviation stuff would see where they've got us today
I had to translate to read it Cheers.
The price is speculative... I think $ 2000-3000 would be approx. And he would fly 5-7 times a day))) or even more often) and build a couple, three of these and it will be possible to fly for $ 200 and $ 72.99 on weekdays from 7:00-10:00am. 😂
Disney Land?
- и все, не, давай опять на орбиту!!!😂
Желаю тебе когда нибудь попасть на эту экскурсию))
Imagine wearing sunglasses during this very expensive experience
Please use the metric system or at least put the flight data side by side in the two systems.
I watched the NBC feed, and liked the girl's wonderful voice, very delightful and enthusiastic.
I had a totally different image in mind of her. She's a cutie.
It's an achievement. At the same time, it's a carnival ride for the rich.
I came here to know if Santosh George Kulangara was there. Hopefully, he will be there on the next trip.
All the best to Team Virgin Galactic!
Astronauts OR Space Tourists?!? (Please don't confused the viewers here). 2:40
Ways safer, Goes higher and looks more fun than Blue Origin's wobbly bit.
Why do they fly so rarely? They can fly several times a day, only filling fuel and attaching planes are needed.
Just basically a high altitude vomit comet.
Looks like the old dude was having a senior moment...
Whoooooaa! A plane flew fast and high!😂😂😂
More boosters 🚀👩🏻🚀
Again like blue origin it is just a high priced six flags ride. To me going into space is actually reaching orbit
Sure we think we are in space by watching on a tv set . Lol😂
This "space vehicle" do not reach 100+km only 290000ft and this is only 88+km . Space is over Theodore von Kármán line😉
To me nit in space until you reach orbit. Nothing more then an expensive six flags type ride. When I can go in spacex vehicle and orbit I will be happy to have made it to space.
@@pumelo1 It doesn't matter if they're not the FAI. The flight launches from and lands in the United States where the FAA, NASA and United States Air Force consider the Kármán Line to sit at 80km.
So as far as US law is concerned, Unity is a spacecraft and the crew/passengers are astronauts.
Да в принципе сама земля находится в космосе, так что мы все в космосе ребятки)))😂 и по расчетам некоторых, довольно быстро летим в пространстве)
Aliens are probably asking a ufo what are they?
The plane is still climbing but they're supposedly weightless, epic fail 😂
Your commentary leads the listener to believe that the sonic boom is heard only when the decelerating spacecraft is passing through the speed of sound. This is not the case. A sound boom is always occurring when the spacecraft is flying at or above the speed of sound in air, although we don't hear it until it enters the atmosphere and is near enough to our ears for us to hear it. "Passing through" the speed of sound has nothing to do with it. Let's have a more scientific commentary that is not misleading, please.
Lol VR roller coaster would be much cheaper
Going into space means orbital flight outside the atmosphere
This is a very high fast joyride - a pale imitation of what Elon Musk and SpaceX have achieved !!!!!
A glorified carnival ride for the rich!
They don't have in cabin sound because the very loud rocket sound would scare off future customers.
Not astronauts. Joyriders.
Earth's not flat,phew 😂
First, nice
Astronauts 🤣🤣🤣
That word just lost all meaning 😂😂
I hope a flat earther went too
But what about the climate 😂
Gay
Where the flat earthers at?
calling them astronauts is like calling them doctors. They're just passengers.
