[why I’m making paper flowers - lollipop ranunculus]
I've been loving all flowers since I was born. During my middle school years, I was obsessed with doing cross-breeding experiments to create new types of flowers. I moved to Michigan 3 years ago and had a very short growing season here. Flowers come and go quickly, which made me sad so I created paper flowers to keep the blooms forever.
On top of that, I visited the flower fields in Carlsbad, California. I’ve never seen so many ranunculus flowers in my life. The 50-acre dazzling rainbow of beautiful ranunculus flowers was absolutely stunning!
After that amazing journey, I started making paper ranunculus and came up with the idea of combining this wonderful flower and my daughter’s favorite lollipop as a gift for her 5th birthday. Unfortunately, she found out before it was done, and told her dad: mom stole my lollipops! LOL

If you’re not a fan of candy, you can also make a paper ball with a piece of paper towel instead of lollipop. I’ll show you how to do it in the tutorial.
