- Comedians Steve Martin and Martin Short have been entertaining audiences on film, television and stage for five decades. Since appearing together in such films as The Three Amigos and Father of the Bride, the comedy legends have formed a double act. Ahead of touring Australia, they discuss comic inspiration and whether they would ever host the Oscars as a double act.

This is actually one of the best interviews I've seen
That was a very good, wide ranging interview by someone who knows their careers ( and is knowledgeable about show business ). And BOWFINGER is a STONE COLD CLASSIC. I have rarely laughed so hard watching a movie

This fellow is a good interviewer: well-prepped, knowledgeable, and interesting, engaging questions.
It never ceases to amaze me when these guys have to explain what they used to do lol

Loved Chevy Chase. Fletch, Fletch Lives, the Family Vacation movies and The Chevy Chase Show where critics said he is not funny and the show won't last and they were rrright. 🤣😅😎
I think these two would be awesome hosting the Oscars, but these award shows need to keep politics out.
