Great opportunity for Ayodhya as a world class Pilgrimage center. While there are so many holy sites in India, only Tirupathi has done wonderful job with infra for devotees. Hope Ayodhya does better. This can be even international destination as even other nationals from South east (Thailand, Indonesia etc) will come. Best wishes to people of Ayodhya and UP.
I am an Atheist by belief system, but i still endorse and promote political Hindutva because Abrahamic religions have proved of their expansionist attitudes and a counter to that is essential, to maintain the religious diversity on this earth.

The religious diversity you will find in India is the largest in the world and most unique and at the same time the levels of religiosity among people is also very diverse. Education level makes a difference in any society and as the education levels will go up, you will find more people becoming atheists and more people becoming less religious, and that's the real Silver lining.

Vir conveniently ascribes intentions to Modi's outreach to Christians as a way to create an impression among western nations. On what basis is he doing this? Some other journalist could argue that Modi has been talking about Sabka Saath all along and that is the real intent behind his outreach. The fact is no one knows what the intent is. This kind of rhetoric is precisely the problem with mainstream media. What they imagine in their heads, they mix with reality and present it as facts to their audience.

The reason why today SHREE RAM Temple is coming into existence due to BJP's follow up on the court case. Madam - I have been seen many discussion on Modi about how is winning almost all the commentators give reasons either on Hindi/religion/Nationalism etc. but never discuss about Medium class and above class give vote for development (tangible things which are happening all around India) these are people travelled at Tourist Places like airports/Railways stations/Ports/Highways/XSpress way,) Many critical decision which happened in last 10 should have been 30 years back. Many more that's why people like me vote and my most of the colleagues who worked in MNCs like Gurgaon. I never ever any commentors give credit to that. its seems they make views in drawings rooms and on fields pulse. Karmbhumi of Lord Ram was in Odisha in the jungles of Kalahandi district, the most backward district of our country. Why not construct another grand Ram temple terming it as Ram Karmbhumi temple at Kalahandi ? Imagine that an investment of another 50K crores in a backward district like Kalahandi where Ram spent his jungle days. Airport and infrastructure would make Kalahandi the most advanced place of the Adivasis and Dalits.

Both Sanghavi and Barkha are missing one major point for Modi's popularity as he is seen as a leader who is trying hard to revive ancient Indian culture and ancient Indian glory. Modi is the one who is trying to break the shackles of colonialism which made Indians and their culture some hineous and backward thing. We as Indians wish to bring back the glorius democracy as we think existed in Vaishali and other parts of ancient India. We do not want western drmocracy anymore. Modi is symbolises this aspiration of Indians and this is totally missed by the brown sahibs and madams like Sanghavi and Barkha. The are missing the soul of India.

Barkha & other secularists think that Ram Temple is built because SC gave the verdict. You secularist don't understand that Hindu leadership went to Supreme Court to get the verdict in their favor only because they wanted to be fair with adamant Muslims. The proofs of the temple destruction were overwhelming but still they went to court only to be fair with Muslims & secularists. If the SC would have gone against it, which was impossible in the light of proofs, the political process was always possible. Barkha will never understand the Hindu phycology.
The supreme court simply decided on the land dispute and ordered the formation of a trust to manage the affairs of that land , it doesn't even mention the word ram temple , permission for which was granted by local municipal authorities , people forget that gehlot banned the mining of the pink sandstone which is being used at the temple , simply to delay construction
Pluralism and mutual respect (emphasis on mutual) for other faiths is inherent in Hinduism. The PM does not need to practice "secularism" to be secular, he only needs to practice his Sanatanadharma. And he's clearly doing that.

Always enjoyed vir sanghvi's writings but the man is clueless on bengal , here in Bengal, modi has rewmendously well taking his party from 7% vote share in 2016 assembly polls to 38% in 2021 . BjP is poised to get 16 to q8 MPs out of there this time and got 16 out of west bengal even in 2019 .

I landed up on this site rather reluctantly just wanting to see how this “Gang of Khan Market” journalists are doing these days. And true to their calling, these guys keep dropping these subtle anti Modi and pro Congress narrative in their views. Look at how Sanghvi, very surreptitiously, does this. While talking of “aspirational Indians” he says “Rahul Gandhi says a lot about them”. Yes Mr. Sanghvi he does SAY a lot but could his party do anything for them while they were in chair? Most of your so called leaders were busy lining their pockets. Chidambaram was busy ensuring that his son made enough money so that his great grandchildren could live comfortably, much like many other Congressmen. And he seems to be suggesting that Modi is doing very little for such “aspirational Indians “!
Talking of Muslims, Sanghvi seems to suggest that Indian Muslims do not look for support from other Muslims. This, my friend, is total bunkum. See how many Muslims in Hyderabad and J&K etc. were cheering Pakistani cricket teams during matches, and many even dared to unfurl the Pakistani flag! Sanghvi even suggested that Muslim houses were being destroyed illegally by Yogi. He seems to forget that UP Govt targeted the goonda elements who had resorted to unauthorised construction. He needs to understand that certain tough measures need to be taken to handle such people and Yogi has succeeded in doing so.
It’s time these journalists start accepting that people of India have realised the true value of the good that present dispensation is doing for Indians and even if reluctantly, they need to appreciate it openly. The likes of Ravish Kumar type of self opinionated journalists are now being shunned by most Indians.
Not a single discussion on Modi’s development plan and technological advancement. Same old Muslim, Arab Muslim etc. That’s where Modi has out scored you guys.
