This level is glitched, even in the remaster (but there's a fan patch which fix it). If you don't do things in a certain order you will be softlocked, I don't remember the order exactly from the top of my head, but you can look on the Stella Tomb Raider guide for this level.

How did you get the hatch to open that small pool where the Uzi's are?
To open it, you need to get on the high top of the hatch, i.e., the 4:46 slope.
